The First Top End Version of 5-D Ultrasound Machine in India gets installed at Kapila Imaging, Palampur
Kpila Imaging has setup the most advanced version of 5-D Ultrasound Machine in Palampur. This is the first State-of-the-Art Ultrasound Machine in India by Samsung. The Machine has the most advanced and latest inbuilt features that brings advancement in Ultrasound.

The 5D Imaging, which is a Volume imaging technology and helps the user to extract quantifiable information from Volume datasets and help with automatic measurement. It provides with Diagnostic planes from the volume dataset that are otherwise difficult to view in 2D Imaging. It helps with more intuitive and efficient diagnosis, thus improves throughput.

Dr Sameer Kapila has done M.B.B.S. from Govt. Medical College, Shimla & M.D. in Radiodiagnosis from SRMC, Chennai. He did his Senior Residency in Radio-diagnosis & Imaging from PGI, Chandigarh following which he completed Training in Interventional Neuroradiology & worked for 4 years as Asst. Professor of Radiology & Consultant Radiologist at Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre, Chennai which is not only among the Best Interventional Neuroradiology Centres in India but is one of the Biggest Tertiary Care Superspeciality Hospitals in South Asia (Affliated with Harvard Medical International, USA). His further Fellowship Training in Fetal Medicine & Advanced Ultrasound has been at Mediscan, Chennai which is the biggest Fetal Intervention & Tertiary Ultrasound Referral Centre in India having a workload of more than 7500 scans per month & patients from all over Asia & Gulf.
