*रोटरी क्लब पालमपुर ने बाल आश्रम सलियाना में मनाया रक्षाबंधन पर्व*

रोटरी क्लब पालमपुर के सदस्यों ने आज बाल आश्रम, सलियाना में बच्चों के साथ रक्षाबंधन का पावन पर्व बड़े हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान बच्चों ने रोटेरियनों को राखियां बांधकर प्रेम, स्नेह और सुरक्षा के बंधन को मजबूत किया। बच्चों के लिए स्वादिष्ट नाश्ते, मिठाई एवं जलपान की व्यवस्था की गई। रोटेरियन सदस्यों ने बच्चों के साथ समय बिताया और उनसे आत्मीय संवाद किया। यह आयोजन रोटरी की सच्ची भावना को दर्शाता है—खुशियाँ बाँटना, सामाजिक बंधन मजबूत करना और जरूरतमंदों के जीवन में बदलाव लाना। इस अवसर पर रोटरी अध्यक्ष रोटेरियन अजय सूद, सचिव रोटेरियन राघव शर्मा, डॉ बीसी अवस्थी,डॉ. राजेश सूद, सुरेन्द्र मोहन तथा विनीेत शर्मा उपस्थित रहे।

🌿 *Proud Moment for Palampur 🌿*
Rotary Club Palampur honored *Mr. Rajiv Sud, founder of Himalayan Brew* , for reviving and globalizing the legacy of Kangra Tea.

Born in Singapore and raised in Palampur’s Raipur Tea Estate, Rajiv left his job in Singapore Armed Forces in 2003 to return home and build a brand rooted in purity, health, and heritage.

Under his leadership, Himalayan Brew became Himachal’s first brand to present Kangra tea in beautiful gift packs and herbal infusions using only real fruits, flowers, and herbs.

🏅Honored by Rotary Secretary Raghav Sharma along with senior Rotarians.
🫖 “Tea can be more than a drink – it’s culture, wellness, and identity,” said Rajiv.

हिमोत्कर्ष संस्था पालमपुर शाखा एवं रोटरी क्लब पालमपुर ने स्थानीय अन्नपूर्णा संस्था के सहयोग से पालमपुर के स्थानीय अस्पताल में मरीजों और उनके तीमारदारों के लिए सुबह की चाय, दोपहर और रात का भोजन वितरित किया।

रोटरी क्लब पालमपुर ने स्व. कुँवर हरिसिंह जी (सेवा सर्वोपरि सम्मानित, पॉल हैरिस फेलो, पूर्व अध्यक्ष) की 5वीं पुण्यतिथि पर अन्नपूर्णा सेवा कार्यक्रम आयोजित कर 55 जरूरतमंद महिलाओं को राशन किट वितरित किए।

Our district holds a historic place in the global Rotary story.
*The Rotary Community Corps (RCC) program was officially launched in 1986 by RI President M.A.T. Caparas.*
At that time, it was introduced as Rotary Village Corps (RVC).
*Past RI President Rtn. Raja Saboo served as the RI Chair* for this visionary global movement.
It was in RID 3070, under the leadership of
*Late Rtn. Kanwar Hari Singh, Past President of RC Una,* that the world’s first RVC was founded in 1986 at *Ishpur Village, Una (Himachal Pradesh).*

🌍 This pioneering effort drew global attention, and Past RI President Raja Saboo personally visited Ishpur to witness its impact.
