I haven’t posted this one in a while … Telling you what a ‘combo session’ looks like.
(Sorry this post is a little long 🥺)
The fancy word for a combo session, that includes a combination of 2 or more of the therapies that I offer is called an Integrated Session.
As each of the reflexology platforms (feet, hands and ears), has a particular place or purpose in supporting your well-being, an integrated session is in essence a tailor made session. A session that is planned to offer specific support to you and your body, for the issues or symptoms you may be experiencing at the time.
Working the EARS is particularly effective for direct access to the brain and central nervous system. A 5 - 10 minute ear massage is probably the quickest way to calm and relax the mind and body at the start of a session.
The HANDS are also ideal to work at the start of a session, particularly when the client has tension in their hands from excessive use, or repetitive actions. It also gives the more talkative client an opportunity to have a chat and offload if they wish to. Though if you started with the EARS they are probably snoring already. 💤
Following this start, I find the work I do on the FEET can then have an even deeper impact for some people, as they shift from Sympathetic to Parasympathetic Nervous System, meaning their bodies are in a deeper state of rest when I work the reflexes on the FEET. 😴
I do quite often revisit the EARS at the end of the session, to affix some EAR SEEDS to assist with specific symptoms, like pain, insomnia, hormonal imbalances, anxiety etc etc. (That’s for another post though 😉)
Then there is also INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE to add in to the mix too, which has its own wonderful set of benefits. 💆🏼♀️💆🏽♂️
So, that’s what a ‘combo session’ can look like. 😄
Most reflexologists are trained in more than just the feet, so do ask your practitioner for a tailor made combo next time you go for a session.💙
