Arks Centre for Special Children is a "Not For Profit" Center at Kadamkode, Palakkad to serve the needy and underprivileged children of Palakkad.
A few points every citizen must know:

1. Autism affects 1 in 125 children in the age group of 3-6 years.
2. Every child is different. Each child needs Individualized Development Plan, done by an expert.
3. If detected early and therapy given, child can be trained to be functional or near normal.
4. Nearly 3% of children in every class room has Learning Disability.
5. If diagnosis is made early, life goals re-sent, training given to them through channels open to them, these children can do better than normal ones.
6. Awareness, diagnosis and therapy are key steps to tackle Autism and Learning Disability.
7. Experience & Expertise in counseling parents and initiating therapy early by experts are critical to training these children and making them excel in life.

Sensory integration and health and dental awareness was the topic for parents get together yesterday, Sunday the 3rd Feb.

ARKZ ACCADEMIC SKILL CENTRE ൽ Dr.Anandhi Ramakrishnan ന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ നടത്തി വരുന്ന LD REMEDIAL CLASSES ഈ മാസം 25 th ന് താത്കാലികമായി അവസാനിക്കുന്നതാണ്.

April മാസം 4th to 30th monday to friday 11.00 am to 2.30 pm വരെ പഠനവൈകല്യ ക്യാമ്പ്.(LEARNING DISABILITY CAMP) ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നതാണ്.ക്യാമ്പിൽ Dr..Anandhi madam ന്റെ ക്ലാസ് കൂടാതെ പുറത്തു നിന്നുള്ള FACULTIES ന്റെ CLASSES കൂടി ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും.
