Happy to see mother and baby safe .it was case of diabetic mother who lost her previous two baby's due to congenital anomalies .both were cesarean delivery.in last pregnancy she came to me n said doctor it's my last chance n I want healthy baby.previous babies malformed due to undiagnosed severe diabetes in pregnancy.in last pregnancy diabetes was well controlled on insulin but in Doppler ultrasound she was diagnosed as a case of placenta accreta(adhered placenta). planned cesarean done but as soon as baby delivered it was torrential bleeding.... hysterectomy done immediately. 5 unit blood transfusion n she revived finally.it was possible due to my efficient team at Sri ram hospital Pali.
