As we journey further into 2024, the landscape of relationships continues to evolve, ushering in a fascinating new concept: Intuitive Intimacy and parallel play.
Intuitive intimacy might look like when one partner instinctively knows when the other needs a hug without them saying anything. It's that unspoken connection that strengthens their bond, allowing individuals to express their true selves without fear of judgment, fostering a profound sense of closeness and connection.

Reflections is a private therapeutic counseling and mental health center which is cooperatively managed by the Psychologists :
Lucy: I have strengths and I have weaknesses just like everyone else and I choose to focus on my strengths (while working on my weaknesses.) The greatest of my strengths is my faith in God which helps me keep going on. Faith gives me courage and hope and helps me look to the light at the end of the tunnel. I believe that there is a purpose for our existence and we all are striving to find meaning in our lives.
I have chosen ‘the road (comparatively) less travelled’ in India and (I am a Counseling Psychologist.) I have pursued my Masters in Counseling Psychology and have worked for a while as a Developmental Psychologist in the Developmental Pediatrics Unit in CMC, Vellore where I had a very enriching experience in life while dealing with children with special needs. Following that I took up teaching Psychology in an undergrad program (along with counseling clients) which again taught me a lot both in terms of life as well as the subject and it expanded my knowledge base and enhanced my ‘life-skills.’
I currently am a Consultant Psychologist at ‘Reflections’ which is a Mental Health and Counseling center in Visakhapatnam, India.
I enjoy ‘reflecting’ and penning down my thoughts, I sometimes also write poetry and have now decided to take up blogging more seriously. I always hope that I would be of service to those in need. I consider that every person is special and unique and thus I use an Eclectic approach as I believe that therapy works best when it is suited to each person’s individual needs. Sapna: I have an extensive experience in psychotherapy and counselling. My therapeutic approach is aimed at fostering personal growth, to strive to mobilize personal strengths and to enhance positive experiences. I employ an integrative approach using elements from cognitive-behavioural, client-centered and other therapies to effectively meet each individual's needs as I believe each one of us is resilient and possesses the ability to develop a sense of agency. I also believe that psychological growth and emotional well-being are fostered by a better understanding of how our thoughts affect our feelings about ourselves, and how those feelings are manifested in our interactions with the world. In this regard, I aspire to cultivate a collaborative, safe, and validating environment to facilitate our work together..
