India’s First Sunscreen Finder Is Finally Here!
Stop guessing which sunscreen actually works. ❌
At Dermatocare, we have reviewed 100+ Indian sunscreens and built India’s first Sunscreen Finder Tool—designed by dermatology science, not marketing claims. 🧪👩‍⚕️

Here’s how it helps you choose right 👇
🧴 Skin Type Filter: Select oily, dry, combination, or sensitive skin.

🛡️ Protection Coverage Filter: UVA, UVB, Visible Light, Infrared Light, Blue Light, and Pollution.

📊 Testing Transparency Filter: Check whether the sunscreen is supported by in-vivo or in-vitro testing, so claims are backed by evidence.

🔍 Visit www.dermatocare.com to try India’s first Sunscreen Finder Tool before buying your next sunscreen.

💬 Don’t see your sunscreen listed? Drop the product name in the comments—and we’ll review it soon.

The Problem With Every Skincare Rating You Cant Ignore Why don’t we give quick ratings like 7/10 or 4/10 just by looking at a product photo?

Because skincare deserves science, not shortcuts.

At Dermatocare, we believe that an informed buyer deserves clear reasoning behind every single rating—not assumptions, trends, or influencer opinions.

🧪 We track down the complete ingredient list, even when brands fail to disclose it transparently.
🤖 Every ingredient is subjected to AI-driven toxicology and safety analysis.
👩‍⚕️ I personally review and grade each product using dermatology science and clinical judgment.

This is why we always recommend checking the detailed review on www.dermatocare.com before purchasing any skincare product.

📊 We have published over 500 product reviews—and not a single one is sponsored.

Does your kid really need sunscreen every day

We address a common question: Do kids really need `daily sunscreen`? A `dermatologist` explains that while not every child requires it daily, it is crucial for those with a family history of skin cancer, photosensitivity, or who sunburn easily. This video highlights the importance of `sunscreen for children` and proper `kids skin care` to stay `sun safe`, emphasizing the role of `spf` in protecting delicate skin.

Dermatologist compares Chemical vs Physical sunscreen

After reviewing over 100 sunscreens on Dermatocare.com, my choice is clear—purely physical sunscreens. Here’s why 👇

🛡️ Instant protection: Physical sunscreens sit on the skin and reflect UV rays immediately—no waiting time.
🧬 Safety first: Many old-generation chemical filters are absorbed into the bloodstream and may affect hormones. Physical filters stay on the surface.
🌈 Beyond UV: They also protect against visible light and blue light—key triggers for pigmentation, melasma, and acne marks.
🌿 Sensitive-skin friendly: No heat, no sting—ideal for reactive or redness-prone skin.
🌊 Reef-safe: Better for your skin and the planet.

✨ Bonus: New-age physical sunscreens with zero white cast do exist.

Are You Actually Seeing the Truth in Skincare?
This video uses a powerful metaphor to illustrate how `influencer marketing` can shape our perception of skincare products, often through biased `product endorsements`. It encourages viewers to seek `truth in advertising` by questioning `content creators` who prioritize payment over honest information. Dermatocare remains dedicated to `consumer protection` by promoting unbiased, science-backed evaluations.

Pregnant? Your mineral sunscreen might not be safe

This video exposes a common issue where `sunscreen` labeled as 'mineral' actually contains chemical filters, blurring the lines in the `chemical sunscreen vs mineral sunscreen` debate. This mislabeling poses significant risks, especially for `pregnancy sunscreen` and `sunscreen for children`, who need specific formulations.

Check Dermatocare Review before buying YOUR next skincare product!

Dermatocare Rating: ⭐⭐ (2/5)

Not recommended for kids

⚠️ Cons – Multiple Red Flags
Parabens (Methylparaben, Propylparaben) – although approved by regulators, increasingly avoided in baby products due to concerns over potential endocrine disruption.

Formaldehyde-Releasing Preservative:

DMDM Hydantoin – releases formaldehyde over time; not recommended for babies, especially in leave-on products due to risk of sensitization and allergic reactions.

Fragrance + Colorants (CI 17200, CI 19140) – synthetic fragrance and dyes can irritate sensitive or eczema-prone baby skin and should be avoided in infant products.

Talc – while not harmful in creams per se, talc has controversial safety status, especially if inhaled or if particles are contaminated (cosmetic grade talc is generally purified but still best avoided in infant skincare).
