Presenting a case where a lesion was formed due to incomplete root canal. Patient was advised for extraction of this tooth by dentists. But we decided to give one more chance to this tooth.
By thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the root canals, removing any residual infection, and reshaping the canals, the chances of a favorable outcome significantly increase. Just followed the principles.

β€œπ‘«π’†π’π’” π’Šπ’ 𝑫𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆” is a developmental malformation incident due to the in folding of enamel and dentin or an accentuation of the lingual pit of an incisor before calcification sets in. The maxillary lateral incisor is most affected and one of the reasons being the external forces applied on the lateral incisor tooth bud by the developing central incisor or canine which develops 6 months prior. A wide array of treatment modalities ranging from the placement of sealants to retrograde fillings is rendered on the severity of invagination.
These are the Radiographs of treatment of a case of Dens in Dente associated with a large Periapical Radiolucency in Maxillary Lateral Incisor with one year follow up.
