Foot problems can arise in diabetic people when high blood sugar damages the nerves and blood vessels in the feet. This can cause numbness, tingling, pain or loss of feeling in your feet. IF UNTREATED 30 PERCENT WILL HAVE NON HEALING ULCERS AND EVENTUALLY AMPUTATION IF NOT TREATED ON TIME

Diabetic Foot Disease is a common consequence in diabetic patients.
Poor sensation
Poor blood supply
Unattended and neglecting early signs of skin breakdown
Before a non healing ulcer occurs on a pressure point it is important to look for pre ulcer signs like infected nail corners, infection in webspace between the toes, corns and callosities caused by pressure from ill fitting shoes or foot deformities.
Any redness or oozing from even a small wound needs urgent attention despite no pain,as diabetics have less pain sensation and this lack of normal pain causes delay in getting medical attention causing ulcer to get infected which reaches to underlying bone and may result in sudden gangrene and finally amputation of toes feet or leg depending on severity and lack of blood flow.
Any non healing ulcer in diabetics is a serious issue
