INAUGURATION OF ALZHEIMER'S CARE CENTER & HEALTH CLINIC,
MEZHUVELI.
Hebron Hills Retirement Home, Mezhuveli has added an Alzheimer’s unit and a clinic for the community service. The blessings and ribbon cutting of the Alzheimer’s unit and Clinic were officiated by His Grace Geevarghese Mar Coorilos, Senior Metropolitan of the Mumbai diocese, and His Grace Dr. Mathews Mar Thimotios, the metropolitan of the Chengannur diocese. Ver. Rev. Mamen Thomas Cor Episcopa, Fr. P.G. Mathews, and Rev. Fr T.S. Mathai administered the blessing of the units. Rev. Fr. Immanuel Mulavana, Vicar Holy Innocent Valiyapalli, several priests, and the Gregorian Community were present to grace the occasion.
In the public meeting, His Grace Geevarghese Mar Coorilos Metropolitan orated ecclesiastic blessing & His Grace Dr. Mathews Mar Thimotios Metropolitan presided. Mr. Koshy Thomas, one of the Board members of HHRH paid homage to the victims of the Wayanadu tragedy and the pavilion stood in silence in observance of condolence. Rev Dr. Mathai Alakot Cor Episcopa, director of HHRH offered a welcome speech and Ms. Daisy Varghese, Secretary of HHRH presented the 12th Annual Report. Shri. Anto Anthony, (MP Pathanamthitta) delivered the inaugural speech. All dignitaries on the stage jointly ignited the oil lamp of inauguration. The honorable district collector Sri. Prem Krishnan S (IAS) received the pledge of two temporary housing for the Wayanadu land slide victims’ rehabilitation until they receive a permanent residence. Rev. Dr. Mathai Alakot Cor-Episcopa together with H.G. Mar Coorilos Metropolitan and H.G. Mar Thimotios Metropolitan handed over the pledge of assurance to the honorable Collector. By receiving the document of our pledge in his reply speech he appreciated all good effort of this institution and thanked for our support for the needy at Wayanadu. Mr. V Thomas Baby orated the pledge to the audience.
Rev Fr. Dr. Bijesh Philip (Retd. Principal) Orthodox Theological Seminary, Nagpur inaugurated the basic Malayalam teaching and liturgical hymns class directed by Ver. Rev. George Mathew Remban, coordinator Sri Arjun SK (PhD)
The HHRH staff highlighted the event with their Scripture presentation, group songs and Central Sunday School children with prayer songs. Following humanitarian awards were also presented. Best Employee of the Year, Construction completion, Health assistance, Professional training scholarship and endowments to educational Institutions. Mr. Mathew Skariah, the president of the Alakot Family forum expressed a vote of thanks and followed by the National anthem.
