Myopic retinal detachment operated with vitrectomy , endolaser and silicone oil insertion.. Any body having spectacle power of more than 3 should get their retina checked routinely to avoid loss of vision... This patient had a high power spectacle and suffered detachment of retina . It was operated and now the patient acheived retinal reattachment and has good vision. All kind of retina surgeries are routinely done at Raswan eye care

A retinal detachment can cause sudden loss of vision but if we treat it in time then we can save the patients vision to large extent ... the risk factors are if somebody has high spectacle power , diabetes and hypertension ... Every such patient should get their retina checked every 6 months ...
