Rajindera hospital is touching new heights with adding one more feather in his cap by performing more than 50 Squint (ਭੇਂਗਾਪਣ ) Correction surgeries with successful results in department of Ophthalmology, GMC Rajindra Hospital Patiala. Squint surgery is being performed regularly at our tertiary care centre by Dr Talvir Sidhu under the able guidance of Dr Anand Aggarwal, HOD and Dr Rajinder Singh, Incharge Unit II. We are performing basic as well as complicated cases of squint including A-V pattern squints, involving the surgery of oblique muscles or up/down shift of muscles. We have also performed surgery in rare cases like Duane retraction syndrome with face turn.
