💬 Confidential | Expert Advice | Non Judgmental | Free Founders of the Trust are volunteers who have come together to manage the trust and its projects. Samvad HIV Helpline - a free, anonymous, one-to-one telephonic information, counseling and referral centre is an initiative of MCF. Till date Samvad has reached out to over 300000 lives all over India. Today, Samvad Helpline has established itself as the largest and most reputed helpline for HIV in India. Our other initiatives are:

> Ankur: systematic disclosure of their HIV status to children living with HIV
> AASHA: initiative to enhance ART adherence
>Sampark: Free mobile service to access the helpline for rural and illiterate people
>Call back service (CBS) for callers in need and SMS reminder service for ART refill

🧠🚫 Drug-Free Awareness Session | Muktaa Chairitable Foundation | HHFC Trust

📍 Location: Slum Area, Vijay Nagar, Rajendra Nagar, Patna
📅 Date: 26th April 2025
👥 Participants: 60 (including 45 children & 15 women)
🎤 Speakers: Babita Kumari & Jitendra Kumar
Orgnised by: HHFC Trust

✨ Highlights from the Session:

🌿 A powerful awareness session was held with children and mothers from the HHFC-run informal school in the slum area.

💬 We began with a discussion on health and well-being, followed by an open and honest conversation about the types, causes, and effects of substance abuse.

👩‍👧 Women courageously shared how addiction has affected their families — from domestic violence to emotional trauma.

🧒 Even children opened up, with two of them already caught in the grip of addiction. Their voices were heard with care.

📞 Many women showed interest in de-addiction helpline numbers and were encouraged to reach out for support. They were assured of full help for recovery.

💚 Mental health awareness and helpline information were also shared, with support cards distributed to all.

🤝 The community requested more such sessions, showing that awareness can spark hope and healing.

🌟 Together, we can break the chain of addiction and build healthier, safer communities.
