BIOGRAPHY OF LORD COUNT CAESAR MATTEI.
Count Caesar Mattei of Bologna – Italy, an Herbalist. He invented the system of Electro-Homoeopathy in 1865. (Born – 11th January, 1809. Deceased – 3rd April, 1896 at the age of 88 years.)
The inventor of Electro-Homoeopathic System of Medicine is Dr. Count Caesar Mattei, a wealthy Italian noble man who lived in Bologna in the later part of nineteenth century. Under the influence of the philosopher Pado Cost, Count Mattie was induced to devote his time and wealth to the service of humanity. He was elected as a member of Roman Parliament but soon abandoned political life and gave himself up entirely to medical studies. After having studied natural science, he gave himself up to anatomy, physiology and pathology. After long and patients research following a method of his own, he discovered how to extract from certain plants the active principles which, alone or combine, form the agent in the new materia medica. He acquainted himself with the numerous and prolonged experiments and researches made first of all upon the Dogs and being an herbalist himself, prepared these remedies from herbs and have demonstrated the curative power of his remedies upon the organs and named them Electro-Homoeopathic Medicines.
After he had completed his experiments, he subjected his remedies to serve and numerous tests. Between 18th June, 1865 and 25th October, 1867 more than 20,000 persons were treated under the supervision of Coli and Count Mattei. IN 1869 Pope, Pius IX set apart a ward in the Hospital of San Theresa at Rome that this system might be tested. The result of the remedies were astonishing.
In this way he became renowned as founder of Electro-Homoeopathy in the whole of this universe. His medicines began to be used in almost all the countries. Many doctors
began to follow his science. In this way this spread far and wide.
During his life, an Association was formed under the Presidentship of Dr. A.J.L. Glidden. This Association published a monthly Magazine named "Modern Medicine".
In the last years of his life he suffered prolonged illness resulted in a distinct failing off his mental and physical powers as signs of coming to an end. At the commencement of the year 1896 he was attacked by Asthma. This was followed by bronchial Catarrh. His health grew gradually worse. Later on the 3rd of April at seven O'clock in the morning, he passed peacefully away at the magnificent castle of La Rochetta, situated in the heart of the Apennines. If there are but few honest hearts in the world, there is still enough remaining to bless his memory.
ELECTO-HOMOEOPATHY
The Electro-Homoeopathy is a quite harmless, unique, natural and scientific system of Medicine invented by Count Caesar Mattei of Rochetta, Italy in about 1865. The system of medicine is based on the principles that "The Human organisation is entirely composed at two elementary liquids -Lymph and Blood and the health and diseases are dependent on such liquids. The vegetable Kingdom is the basis of safe guarding the different organism of human body. The word "Homoeo" used in this system has taken root from Homoeostasis. The idea behind is that this system maintains the entire organs and the tissue blinds in steady sports.
The Electricity has been observed in all the living beings including plants. It is proved that no cell, no organ and / or a body could possible manifest its legitimate function without electrical energy. It is a fundamental and basic principle of the Science that the manufacturer, Transmission, utilization and discharge of Electrical energy of living cells is responsible for metabolism of the body and also give us a rational explanation for all the phenomena of life, health, diseases and therapeutics. The Electro- Homeopathic Medicine generate and regenerate greater power restoring functional
capacity and asserting organic changes than all the drugs mentioned in other Pharmacopoeia.
The Electro-Homoeopathic remedies are prepared by the vegetables on a specific process called "Spagiric Way'. Which was introduced by Dr. Theophrastus Van Hoheneeim (Paracelsus) and Dr. Van Helmant. These remedies have maximum curative capacity and the capacity to regulate the Lymph and blood and also to keep them purified. [Life and health are in the blood and the lymph, the disease is in the vitiation of the blood or the lymph or of both together.]
INTRODUCTION
The Board of Electro-Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Bihar, Patna is an autonomous educational institution imparting knowledge of Electro Homoeo Medical Science and Technology. Board is duly registered by the Govt. of Bihar for the development of Electro-Homoeopathic System of Medicine. Board was established in 1977. Since then the Board has been providing medical facilities and propagation / promotion of Electro – Homoeopathy. About 40 Electro Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital within and outside the state of Bihar are affiliated and recognised to this Board.
The following causes and examinations are conducted by the Board and the following Diploma and Degree are awarded after successfully completion of each of the courses and passing the relevant examination.
(A) TITLES OF COURSE : There are four courses i.e. (i) D.E.H.M (Diploma in Electro-Homoeopathy) Diploma Course of 1 year duration, (ii) M.B.E.H. (Bachelor in Electro – Homoeopathic Medicine) certification course of 3 year duration (iii) B.E.M.S. (Bachelor in Electro-Homoeopathic practitioner & Surgery) Special certificate Course of one year duration & (iv) M.D.E.H. (Doctor of Electro-Homoeopathic Medicine) P.G. certificate course of 1 year duration.
(B) SESSION : The session of the College commences from the 1st July and ends on the 30th June each year and is of one year duration.
(C) REQUISITE MINIMUM QUALIFICATION FOR ADMISSION:
D.E.H.M (Diploma) : Matric (Pass out) or Equivalent or Registered Medical
Practitioner.
M.B.E.H. (Degree) :(1) M.B.E.H. (Pre/1st Year) – Intermediate (Pass-out) or
Equivalent.
(2) M.B.E.H. (Inter/2nd Year) – I.Sc. (Bio) Pass –out or Graduate pass out or 2nd year of Diploma or degree pass out of any medical system.
B.E.M.S. (Special Degree): M.B.E.H. (Final – Pass-out )/ Graduates in any recognised Medical System.
M.D.E.H. (Post Graduate Degree) : M.B.E.H. or B.E.M.S. or Diploma or
Graduates in any recognised Medical System.
