As parent by developing a good habit of brushing teeth twice a day at early age leads to their lifetime health benefits, which is a best gift a parent can give their child.
Brushing your teeth twice a day helps to remove plaque, a sticky film of bacteria that can build up on your teeth and gums. Plaque can cause tooth decay and gum disease.
Here are some tips for brushing your teeth twice a day:
• Use a soft-bristled toothbrush.
• Apply a pea-sized amount of fluoride toothpaste.
• Brush for two minutes, making sure to brush all surfaces of your teeth.
• Brush your tongue to remove bacteria that can cause bad breath.
• Spit out the toothpaste after brushing.
• Do not rinse your mouth with water after brushing.
In addition to brushing your teeth twice a day you should have dental regular visits at least for every 6 months.
