Divyadrishti Eye Centre Pvt Ltd,,Patna was founded in Nov.2002 with the aim of providing comprehensive eye care services using the best in technology and skills. Since its inception in 2002 it has always strived to offer the best to the ophthalmic patients and has been the frontrunner in delivering specialized eye care services for various disorders of the eye.The new building was inaugurated by honble Chief minister of Bihar,Sri Ntish Kumar on 23rd June,2013.This centre is built up in 7500 sq.feet with all modern facilities. Due to the growing demand by our own patients of eastern Patna,we opened our branch at Kankarbagh in May,2016. Besides these 2 centres,we run a hospital,NAYANDRISHTI, managed by a trust,Mohini Devi Charitable Trust to provide free services to poor patients.
Besides delivering the regular eye-care services, the centres take pride in providing advanced level of diagnostic and therapeutic services for cataract by Phacoemulsification under topical anaesthesia (without injection) through an incision as small as 2.2 mm,LASIK Laser for removing glasses, Vitreo-retina, Glaucoma, Squint, Oculopalsty and Pediatric Ophthalmology. Dr.Subhash Prasad has been pioneer in starting Phaco surgery for cataract under topical anaesthesia(without injection) without stitch and eye pad. Divyadrishti Eye Centre is known for adopting cutting edge technology and use of Phacoemulsification with a foldable lens implant for cataract surgeries. At DDEC we use the latest generation Phaco machine – Centurion vision system by Alcon (Torsional Phaco) . In almost 100% cases it is a ‘no injection – no stitch – no pad’ surgery leading to very quick recovery and rehabilitation and is a walk in – walkout cataract surgery.
