We are pleased to welcome Dr. Pawan Rawal as Senior Director – Gastroenterology at Medanta, Gurugram.

With over 18 years of experience, Dr. Rawal is a renowned expert in pancreaticobiliary disorders, chronic liver diseases, GI and liver oncology, and coeliac disease. He brings advanced expertise in therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as ERCP, EUS, and third space endoscopy.

A DM in Gastroenterology from PGIMER Chandigarh, Dr. Rawal has served as Principal Investigator in key clinical trials, including the Indian launch trial for Sofosbuvir. His research has earned national and international recognition, including the Young Investigator Award at APPSPGHAN and a fellowship at the World Congress of Gastroenterology.

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Bharat Gopal as Senior Director – Interventional Pulmonology.

With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Gopal is a nationally and internationally acclaimed expert in Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine. A trailblazer in Interventional Pulmonology, he has been instrumental in introducing advanced techniques like EBUS and Cryobiopsy in India.

His clinical interests include Asthma, COPD, Interstitial Lung Disease, Sleep Apnea, and Advanced Thoracoscopy, alongside a strong focus on Academic Training and Research. Dr. Gopal has authored numerous Scientific Publications and played a key role in developing National Respiratory Guidelines. Through the Pulmo-Pathshala series, he has trained hundreds of physicians across the country.

A Fellow of the ACCP (USA), ERS, and several other leading Medical Societies, Dr. Gopal brings with him a legacy of innovation, leadership, and excellence. His addition further strengthens our mission to deliver world-class respiratory care.
