Had the privilege of being the Chief Guest at the Annual Function of preschool Little Millennium recently.

Such a delightful experience watching the little stars shine on stage! 🌟
Appreciation to the teachers and parents for their incredible efforts.
Special Thanks to Sandhya ji for the warm gesture of invitation

Also shared few of my thoughts with the enthusiastic parents at the event

In today’s fast-paced world, one of the most valuable gifts parents can give their children is time.

It’s not the expensive toys or perfect schedules that shape a child’s future—it’s the simple moments: listening to their stories, playing with them, guiding them gently, and being present in their lives.

Children may forget what we buy for them, but they will always remember how we made them feel. A few extra minutes each day can build confidence, emotional security, and lifelong values.

Let’s invest time where it truly matters—our children. 🌱

HPV Vaccination– A Historic Step Toward Cervical Cancer Elimination
The inclusion of HPV vaccination in the National Immunization Programme (NIP) is a highly welcome and visionary step.
It signals that cervical cancer elimination in India now looks achievable.

Let us appreciate the facts clearly:
Introducing HPV vaccine at national scale requires massive financial commitment and political will.

To initiate this journey, Gavi – the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization has supported India with approximately 2.5 crore free doses to help launch the program.

At present, the initial rollout may include Gardasil 4, a globally proven vaccine.
But let us be very clear—
This does NOT imply that India’s indigenous vaccine, CERVAVAC, is inferior in any way. Absolutely not.
In fact, CERVAVAC is a matter of national pride.
It represents India’s scientific capability, self-reliance, and affordable innovation.
The confidence in CERVAVAC is already visible:
Bihar has ordered 10 lakh doses of CERVAVAC
Three more states are preparing to adopt it
This is truly a moment of jubilation for all of us.
For decades we dreamed of a cervical cancer–free India.
Today, for the first time, we can genuinely see the end of the road.
Now the responsibility shifts to us—
Gynecologists, pediatricians, public health leaders, and policymakers—
to ensure awareness, acceptance, and rapid implementation.
History will remember this decade as the turning point in India’s fight against cervical cancer
