Children's Day is celebrated across India to increase awareness about the rights, education, and welfare of children. It is celebrated on 14 November every year on the birthday of the First Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Known as 'Chacha Nehru' among children, Nehru advocated for children to have all-rounded education that would build a better society in the future.Nehru considered children as real strength of a nation and foundation of society.On this day, many educational and motivational programs for children are held across India.
CNS Ayurveda Chikitsalayam celebrated Children's day by joining hands with Rotary Club of Pattambi by conducting a painting competition to Upper Primary & High school children. Noted Photographer and Artist Sri. Revathy Venu was the Judge. Pattambi municipality vice chairman Sri T P Shaji distributed certificates to the Prize winners. CNS Ayurveda Director Smt. Remya distrubuted cash prize to the winners.The function was presided over by Pattambi Rotary President Rtn. Sarath Sethu.
