Diabetic Patients: Cracked Heels are NOT Just Dry Skin!
For many people — especially farm workers, homemakers, street vendors — cracked heels feel like a small problem.
But in Diabetic Patients, heel cracks are far more dangerous.

A Small Mistake… Can Cost Your Foot!
Many diabetics lose their foot sensation due to Diabetic Neuropathy.
That means — you may not feel how hot the water is… until it’s too late.
Washing your feet directly in hot tap water can cause severe burns, deep wounds, and even lead to amputation.

✅ Always check the water temperature with your left hand first.
✅ If your hand can stay in comfortably for 1–2 minutes, it’s safe.
🚫 Never mix hot & cold water to ‘adjust’ temperature suddenly.
