When to Consult a Doctor Immediately
Seek medical attention if you experience:
A sudden, severe headache (“worst headache of your life”)
Headache lasting more than 2–3 days
Frequent headaches (multiple times a week)
Headache with fever, stiff neck, or vomiting
Blurred vision, confusion, or difficulty speaking
Headache after a fall or head injury
Headaches that are increasing in intensity over time
Headache along with high blood pressure
Persistent headaches are not something you should “just tolerate.”
