After a period of rigorous training at the Sivananda Ashram, he obtained his Yoga diplomas in 1993 and 1996. Solaman launched his career in Yoga in 1996 at Mamalapuram near Chennai. Even after turning professional, he has been honing his instructional skills. He attended the one month Iyengar Style Yoga Workshop at the Yoga Study Centre, Rishikesh (the Himalayas), and successfully completed the Yoga Instructors Course at the Vivekananda Yoga University, Bangalore, in 2000. He has been taking his time off for Yoga Culture Tours to North India every year. Solaman spent the year 2004 in China. From March to November of this year he taught in The Home for Yoga in Beijing. Soloman’s Yoga lessons focus on Deep Relaxation, Stretching, and Harmonizing Breath and Movements. He is a favourite of international tourists who find his classes highly rewarding.
