A 55 year old woman reported to us with the chief complain of swelling on left half of the face
On further investigation and history taking.. She informed us that she got tooth extracted from a road side quack 7 days before . Since then she started getting swelling. She was diabetic as well.
Extraction is an invasive dental procedure which should be done following proper sepsis protocols to avoid contamination of the wound (socket) caused after the extraction procedure
The road side quark wouldn't have followed the proper sepsis protocol which leads to such conditions.
