Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune marked a strong presence at PULSE 2026 in Mumbai as the Education Partner, contributing to conversations shaping the future of medical education and healthcare delivery.

Our stall saw strong engagement across four verticals: CPR and 3D printing, patient care simulation, airway management and AR and VR learning. Hon’ble Dr. Yashraj P. Patil, Trustee and Treasurer, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pimpri, Pune, served on the Advisory Board and participated in a key roundtable in the presence of Hon’ble Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister, Maharashtra. Dr. Rekha Arcot, Dean, Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune, contributed to the panel on Competency Based Medical Education.

Our students also made a strong mark at the Innovations Challenge, with the project PRAKASH receiving recognition for innovation led thinking in oral cancer detection and therapy.

As future healthcare professionals, the way we approach neurodiversity in clinical settings will define outcomes for millions of patients.

Autism is not a deficit. It is a different way of experiencing the world and our systems, our hospitals and our consultations need to make space for that.

What can you do? Start by listening. Learn about sensory sensitivities. Understand that a patient who doesn't make eye contact is not being rude, they may be overwhelmed. Small adjustments in your practice will matter more than you know.

Pulse 2026, held at the Jio World Convention Centre, brought together the medical community for two days of high-energy learning and collaboration.

Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune marked a strong presence at the conclave with one of the highest footfall engagements, driven by an interactive, hands-on experience for participants.

The station featured four distinct sections: an immersive AR/VR experience, a CPR training module, a mid-fidelity simulation setup and an intubation skills station, offering visitors a practical glimpse into modern medical training and simulation-based learning.

The initiative reflected the institution’s focus on experiential education, clinical skill-building and the integration of technology in medical training, making learning both engaging and impactful.
