Most people think their physical health challenge is the problem.
But what if I tell you — the problem is not the body, it’s the pattern running inside the nervous system.

I know this deeply, not just as a coach, but as a human.
I’ve lived that phase where physical health comes in between life — between workouts we love, daily energy, business focus, confidence, household responsibilities, and even simple joy.

When the body doesn’t cooperate, life feels paused.

That’s why I talk about New Code NLP.
Not motivation. Not forcing discipline. Not ignoring symptoms.

New Code NLP works on how you do what you do —
how the body starts a reaction,
how breath changes,
how posture shifts,
how movement becomes restricted,
how the nervous system goes into protection mode.

I’ve seen it again and again — in my own body and in so many people I’ve worked with.
When the process changes, the body changes.
Movement shifts.
Breathing shifts.
Energy shifts.
Response shifts.

This is not about fighting the body.
This is about calibrating the body.

The first step is awareness.

How many cats do you see? 🐈

Most people rush to count.
Some miss a few.
Some argue about the number.

But the real question is not how many.
It’s how you are looking.

NLP teaches us this:
👉 Your brain deletes, distorts, and generalises information.
👉 What you see depends on your focus, filters, and past experiences.

Pause.
Reset.
Look again.

That’s where awareness begins.

THIS ONE WORD IS SILENTLY STEALING YOUR FOCUS.

The answer isn’t motivation or discipline.
The answer is LET GO OF “SHOULD.”

As an NLP coach, I see how the word should programs the subconscious mind with pressure, guilt, and self-judgment.
And a mind full of pressure can never stay focused on itself.

Every time you think:
“I should do more.”
“I should be better.”
“I should focus on myself.”

Your brain feels forced, not empowered.

In NLP, real change begins when you shift from should to choice.

When you drop “should”:
• mental resistance reduces
• overthinking calms down
• self-worth improves
• emotional balance returns
• clarity and inner focus grow

Stop asking why should I only change?
Start asking what do I choose for myself today?

Because true self-focus starts with freedom, not pressure.

Something about people resharing their 2016 pictures has been doing the rounds again.
And if the mood is nostalgia, I’m usually tempted. Always.

Instagram’s archive is dangerous that way.
I go there thinking I’ll smile for two minutes, and suddenly I’m judging my captions, my poses, my confidence.
Some pride. Some embarrassment. Equal parts “aww” and “why did I post that?”
Nostalgia does that. It starts soft and then quietly gets overwhelming.

While everyone is revisiting 2016, my mind keeps drifting to 2018.

That version of me was travelling.
Portugal. Sesimbra.
Learning NLP. Meeting people from different countries.
Fully present in that phase, without knowing how important it would become later.

Then came coming back to India. Had great time with family and worked harder.

Somewhere in between, I bought my first self-earned car.
I remember that feeling clearly — calm, proud, deeply satisfying.
No validation needed.

There were smaller moments too.
Watching my son Rachit with his best friend A***n.

Visited Goa. Morjim Beach. Laughter without planning. It was the best trip I ever had.

And a road trip — Pune to Delhi, a halt at Indore, meeting relatives —
all of us moving, talking, living… inside that Kia.

The person in those 2018 pictures feels familiar, but she isn’t exactly me anymore.
We share memories, that’s for sure.
But she was living that chapter fully, just like I’m living this one now.

Nostalgia is strange.
Comforting and tiring at the same time.

So yes — count me in.
Just not for 2016.
For 2018.
