However due to popularity of the clinic , it wasn't long before a bigger premises was needed and presently (2017) the clinic has moved to their new location at Yashodan Building ,Varkhandem , staying up to date with the times using advanced & latest equipments "Physioedge" continues to deliver the highest standard of patient care in Goa. Whether you have a long standing complain or a recent probem Physioedge Physios will provide you with the best care . The first Physio appointment will involve a thorough assessment and accurate diagnosis , and formulating a personalized treatment plan . Have you heard of these terms mommy thumb /mommy's wrist / cradle thumb ?

It's also often seen in computer professions using the mouse constantly, writers , surgeons , Doctors , racket sportsmen, gardeners and the list goes on. ( mainly professionals who use their wrist and thumb repeatedly)

One of the common conditions seen at our clinic. Patients walk in with this nagging constant pain at the base of the thumb, often saying it's incurable.

Physioegde clinics started in 2009 at Ponda in a small shop providing exercise therapy and individualized approach to patient care . Through the years we have grown organically, mostly through word of mouth and reference of our well wishers.

Getting your BACK on track. In daily life we need to accept when we have back pain and get it treated immediately. Multiple patients try various treatment methods and feel relief temporarily, specialy non scientific methods . Remember, we need to know the cause of your back pain to be able to treat it. Luckily a few patients that visit us at physioedge have an accurate diagnosis by a Doctor or they walk in with terrible pain and we are able to physically assess and derive a treatment plan .

What works for you might not work for another patient, specially when the variables of intensities and duration of pain are different . Unfortunately thoracic lumbar or pure lumbar pain may be due a number of reasons , initially patients are very resistant or rather hesitant to believe that physiotherapy can be a viable option . The only negative of physiotherapy could be the time involved in active treatment , but there again if you are on constant medication for weeks and unable to go about your daily activities , there is no point in living life at 50% of capacity when there are options .

It takes effort from the physiotherapist as well as the patient to get better . The road to recovery may be long or unclear , but in a few sessions many neuro- muscular changes result in changing the nature of pain and guided exercises have helped fully cure back pain for countless of sufferers .

If you ever have back pain get your self checked by an orthopaedic or neuro specialist or experienced physiotherapist . Don't put your back into unsafe hands .

Here is a video of one of the countless patients we have treated who couldn't move comfortably but with Physioedge Physiotherapy sessions has now pain free state .
