Travel during pregnancy
It’s safe to travel during pregnancy in most cases. In certain high risk situations travel should be avoided. These are twins , risk of preterm delivery, bleeding during pregnancy, severe Pregnancy induced hypertension or other such complications during pregnancy
Some tips that will help travel during pregnancy safe and enjoyable have been listed above.
Most importantly listen to your body and if you feel confident enough to, enjoy your vacation or go on baby moon or travel for delivery to your home town with confidence and ease! Please consult your treating gynecologist for approval before travel .
All modes of travel are considering safe and depends on personal choice ,though long distances travel may be uncomfortable. Stretching every now and then is important .

First sonography or viability scan
It is done at 6 to 8 weeks of pregnancy
It tells us if baby is inside uterus and not ectopic.
It confirms the size and duration of pregnancy
It records heartbeats of baby .
At this stage baby is small , and the length of the baby is as much as a grain of rice .
We also see if it’s a single baby or twins .
If heartbeats are not seen then you will be called again after 10 days or so to confirm the heart beats
Baby’s heartbeats should be around 110 to 180 at this stage
Also at this stage we can see if there is any internal bleeding and take action accordingly.

Pain during me**es , pain during in*******se, chronic pelvic pain are some of the common symptoms.
Infertility due to poor egg count, low AMH, low implantation rates is increasing .
Delay in treatment is often seen due to not being aware of the condition by patients .
In young girls symptoms are generally only pain and commonest advice given is it will settle when you grow up . But that’s not the case !
