Bihu, Lohri, Pongal, and Makar Sankranti may look different on the surface, but they all beat to the same cosmic heart. On January 14, 2026, we witness the Sun’s entry into Makara (Capricorn)β€”marking the beginning of Uttarayana, the northward movement of solar consciousness.
This is more than an astronomical event; it is a energy shift in Prana. It is the moment when life-force begins its ascent, warmth returns to the earth, and our spiritual practices gain a renewed, fiery potency.
