The Sinking Cataractous Lens

This 50 year female, who was already one eyed (PL negative due to advanced glaucomatous damage in other eye) came to us with Vision HMCF (Hand movement close to face) in her only seeing eye....
She had Vitremacular Traction and Glaucoma in this eye....PI was done to save the eye from more glaucomatous damage due to increased Intraocular pressure and later Vitreo-Retinal Surgery was done and Vitreo-macular traction was removed by Dr Sameeksha Agrawal Vitreo-Retina Surgeon ....

Hereby sharing preop and 2 wks post op OCT image where we can see the traction is completely removed....Currently patient vision has increased to 6/24....

As the patient was poor, this retinal surgery was done at Krishna Eye Foundation, Eye Clinic Prayagraj , completely free of cost with help of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY)...
All thanks to our Honorable prime minister Narendra Modi for this scheme for helping the poor and improving health structure of our country...
