Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of SVDC organized a Gender Equity program for Undergraduate students. Dr. Subhalakshmi, Asst Prof, School of Law, Pondicherry University was the resource person for the program. The participants were made aware of the existing legal provisions for gender equity. The guest speaker was felicitated by the Principal Dr. Senthilnathan and committee member secretary Dr. Devameena.

Dept of pedodontics organized a hands on workshop on veneering in pediatric dentistry. The resource persons for the program were Prof Dr. Deepa G and Prof Dr. Mahesh Ramakrishnan from Saveetha Dental College, Chennai, one of our MoU partnering institutes. Over 30 Post graduate students from various colleges took part in the workshop.

The Inaugural Function of the First year BDS batch 2025-26 was held on 15.11.25 at Sri Venkateswaraa Dental College, Ariyur, Pondicherry. The Chief guests for the event were a Dr. Ratnasamy MS, Director, Sri Venkateswaraa Medical College, and a Dr. B. Vidhya Rangaraju, COO, SVGI,Ariyur, Pondicherry. The program started with lighting of Kuthuvilakku followed by welcome address by the Principal Dr. Senthilnathan. The Chief guests also addressed the parents and the vote of thanks was given by Vice principal Dr. Varsha Murthy.
