Mexican cornbread is an amazing and delicious bread stuffed with corn. It is a perfect accompaniment with all your Mexican dishes or else you can have it with your cup of tea. So, let’s know how to make this recipe.

Nutritional Benefits:
Oats are a great source of fiber, carbohydrates and other vitamins and, they are highly rich in antioxidants especially ferulic acid which has major health benefits. It is also rich in soluble fiber which can lower cholesterol and sugar levels. Corn flour is gluten-free and is ideal for gluten insensitive people.

Per Serving:

Nutrition information: Calories- 202.2 kcal, Carbs19.5 grams, Protein7.8 grams, Fats9.34 grams

Ingredients:

10 grams cornflour
10 grams oats flour
2-3 green chilies or jalapenos (chopped)
20 grams onion
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 whole egg (optional)
10 grams curd
20 grams corns
Salt as per taste
1 teaspoon olive oil/ regular oil
Method:

Firstly, preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Grease the baking pan with oil.
On the other hand, mix both the flours in a bowl and add chopped onions and green chilies.
Take another bowl and add whole egg, curd, corns, and leftover ingredients and whisk together.
Mix both the batters to form a thick consistency.
Now, pour the batter on the baking pan and place in the oven for 20 – 22 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius till the bottom becomes brown in color.
Serve hot with any Mexican dish.

Hey all! Try on this delicious recipe with all the easy ingredients!

High protein veg soup recipe

INGREDIENTS
Paneer home made – cut into cubes
Water of the paneer
4-5 tomatoes
Pumpkin 300-400 gms cut into small cubes
Carrots 1/2 kg cut into small cubes
4 Capsicum cut into large squares
Handfull of chopped parsley leaves (optional)
Green Chillies – 4 to 5 slit ( depends how spicy you like your food)
Onion – 2 ground to a paste
1 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 1/2 tsp whole jeera
1/2 tsp haldi (turmeric)
1 tsp ghee
METHOD
Put ALL ingredients( except the jeera and ghee) into the paneer water and keep aside
Put little ghee in a pressure cooker and add the jeera
When it starts to splutter and you get the fragrance add the paneer water with everything in it and cooker for one whistle only ( high gas)
Open and serve with white rice

Ready to eat
KEEP IN MIND

SALT – we do not add salt to this as the paneer water is already quite salty. You can if you wish to

VEGETABLES – add vegetables of your choice. You can also add cauliflower, beans etc. the quantity is also dependent on you. Feel free to reduce or increase Note- Avoid this recipe if you are lactose intolerant

In the frame- Risotto Primavera😋
It's a delicious Italian veg rice recipe that is very easy to make from home available ingredients !
Just thought of sharing this recipe with you guys, as it is very tasty and easy to make, along with that, it's fully nutrient dense.
So here it goes!

Ingredients- 2 katori/vati rice, 4 katoris/vati vegetable stock( recipe in the method), half katori butter (loni), half katori thin sliced onion, 4-5 garlic petals vertically sliced, square cutted carrot, French beans(pharasbi), red capsicum, green peas (each half katori) half katori shredded cheese, fresh cream(doodha varchi saay), salt to taste, black pepper powder(kaali miri pood)

Method-
1-Wash the rice and drain water from it.
2-For vegetable stock- Take carrot, French beans, red capsicum, green peas, in a water filled vessel and boil until all the veggies get half cooked.Drain the vegetables from the water.The remaining water is your Vegetable stock.(vegetable stock remains in fridge for about 7 days and can be used for various other preparations)
3- In a kadhai, add half of the butter from the katori, add garlic and onion and saute it until they get smooth.
4- Add the rice over it and saute it.
5- Add the vegetable stock, salt to taste, black pepper powder and cook the rice.
6- add the half cooked vegetables and if required, add the leftover vegetable stock.
7- add the rest of the butter from the katori and add half of the cheese from the katori.
8- Garnish with cheese and fresh cream .
9- Enjoy!

There are 2 types of generally available potatoes: sweet potato and normal potato.
Knowing the nutritional info of our fav potato will be a nice thing, right?

So here it goes...!

In a Nutshell:
Potato is an excellent source of vitamin C.
A good source of potassium (more than a banana!)
A good source of vitamin B6
Potatoes are nutrient-dense complex carbohydrates
Potatoes are fat, sodium- and cholesterol-free
Potatoes are only 110 calories per serving!

Now, answering some general FAQ's...

Q1- Are potatoes fattening?
Ans- No. A 5.3-ounce skin on potato has only 110 calories and no fat. Experts agree weight gain occurs when an individual consumes more calories than he or she expends.

Q2- Are potatoes high in carbs?
Ans- Yes. Potatoes are a carbohydrate-rich vegetable. A medium, 5.3 ounce potato with the skin contains 26 grams of carbohydrate.
