🟨 Indira Ekadashi, devoted to seeking moksha for ancestors and divine blessings for the living, is observed on 17th September 2025.

🟩 “Indira Ekadashi,” also known as Ekadashi Shradh, falls in the sacred period of Pitru Paksha and is observed for the liberation of ancestors from past sins while seeking their blessings for the lineage.

🟧 On this occasion, devotees worship Lord Padmanabha, a form of Vishnu resting on Anant Shaiyya, symbolising creation and eternal sustenance.

🟫 The legend of Indira Ekadashi tells of King Indrasen, who, by observing this sacred fast, freed his father from the torments of Yamaloka, proving its power to liberate ancestors and grant them a place in Vaikuntha.

🟪 On Indira Ekadashi, devotees honour their ancestors by fasting, reciting scriptures, worshipping Lord Vishnu, lighting lamps near Tulsi, and giving charity—acts believed to bring peace, prosperity, and freedom from past sins.

🟨 Pitru Paksha is a sacred 15-day period to honour our ancestors, and in 2025, it will be observed from 7th September to 21st September.

🟧 In Hindu culture, honouring ancestors is considered essential before worshipping deities, as their blessings are seen as vital for prosperity and guidance — reflecting the deep respect for elders and the belief that our lives are rooted in their legacy.

🟫 Pitru Paksha is marked by sacred rituals like Tarpana (offering food and water), Pinda Daan (rice ball offerings), feeding the poor, and charitable acts — all performed to honour ancestors and seek their blessings.

🟪 Pitru Paksha holds great cultural, spiritual, and astrological significance, as it connects the living with their ancestors through offerings and prayers — ensuring peace in the afterlife, blessings for future generations, and relief from ancestral afflictions like Pitru Dosh.

🟧 According to the Mahabharata, Karna was denied food and water in the afterlife as he had only donated gold during his lifetime; after Lord Yama allowed him 15 days to offer food and water to his ancestors, this period came to be observed as Pitru Paksha.

🟩 Sarvapitri Amavasya, the concluding day of Pitru Paksha on 21st September 2025, is a universal day to honour all ancestors collectively, reflecting both spiritual inclusivity and the timeless influence of ancestral wisdom that continues to inspire traditions, science, and alternative healing.

🟦 In Hinduism Lunar or Solar Eclipse are considered cosmic phenomena which release a lot of energy onto the earth. Both types of eclipses are considered a golden opportunity for spiritual advancement.

🟪 This year the night of 7th and 8th September will witness the longest Lunar Eclipse of the decade. The total eclipse will be visible in India so it will have a powerful impact on us. Hence following the Grahan sutaka is highly recommended.

🟫 The impact will be aggravated for those who have nodes of moon ( Rahu & Ketu) in conjunction with Sun and/or Moon in their birth chart. Also natives running the period i.e. dasha of Sun, Moon, Rahu & Ketu will find it hard to navigate through this period.

🟧 To mitigate the effects of the eclipse it is best to meditate, chant mantras, and practice pranayama. Restrict things like doomscrolling which may dump unwanted information in your mind.

🟩 Many Hindu Scriptures claim that spiritual practices yield 1000 times greater results when performed during eclipses. Chanting even one rosary may flip your Karmic balance sheet. Similarly, charity and donations done during the eclipses brings more positivity than done on other days.

🟨 This year the Pitrupaksha period begins on 7th Sep 2025 and ends on 21st Sep 2025. This means the Pitrupaksha period starts with Total Lunar Eclipse and ends with Partial Solar eclipse. A holy period to release karmic debts, pitru doshas and honour our ancestors, by paying reverence as mentioned in the shastras.

● Ganesh Visarjan marks the emotional conclusion of Ganesh Chaturthi, where devotees bid farewell to Lord Ganesha with devotion and joy, believing he will return next year with blessings and prosperity.

● Anant Chaturdashi, observed on September 6, 2025, marks Ganesh Visarjan and the tying of the Anant Sutra, symbolizing endless devotion, prosperity, and continuity of faith.

● This festival spiritually signifies detachment, the eternal cycle of life, and devotion to the infinite forms of Lord Ganesha and Lord Vishnu, bringing blessings, balance, and inner strength.

● Performing Ganesh Visarjan during the auspicious Choghadiya—Amrit, Shubh, Labh, or Char—is believed to maximize blessings, spiritual merit, and prosperity for devotees and their families.

● In Maharashtra, Ganesh Visarjan is celebrated with grand processions, music, dance, and community devotion, while philosophically, immersing the idol symbolizes life’s impermanence and the soul’s ultimate union with the divine.

● Ganesh Visarjan teaches that life is transient, urging detachment, humility, and surrender to the divine, guiding the soul toward unity with universal consciousness.

🟦 Vamana Jayanti is celebration of Lord Vishnu’s fifth avatar. It falls on Dwadashi Tithi of Bhadrapada Shukla Paksha, and in 2025 it will be observed on 4th September.

🟪 Lord Vamana was born to Rishi Kashyapa and Goddess Aditi in Treta Yuga under Shravana Nakshatra during Abhijit Muhurat.

🟫 The legend of Vamana Jayanti tells how Lord Vishnu, as Vamana, humbled King Mahabali’s pride with three cosmic steps, teaching devotion, humility, and the restoration of balance in the universe.

🟧 Lord Vamana, depicted as a humble young Brahmin, symbolizes simplicity, humility, and devotion, and is revered in Hindu Shastras for upholding truth and righteousness.

03/09/2025

Maa Bhuvaneshwari — the Empress of the Three Worlds is the one who holds the womb of creation within Her boundless form. She is the very space in which the universe exists.

Goddess Bhuvaneshwari and Asht Bhairav or eight Bhairav both are connected with the primordial divine couple of Shiva- Parvati.
The eight Bhairav are the ugra or the frightful incarnation of Lord Shiva. Whereas Maa Bhuvneshwari is connected with Goddess Parvati.

In fact, in the Shakt school, Goddess Parvati is considered the saguna or visible form of Goddess Bhuvaneshwari. Goddess Bhuvaneshwari is called the Vishwa Nayaki by the worshippers of Shakti. Vishwa Nayaki means the woman leader of the world.

In the Yogic methodology, Maa Bhuvneshwari is associated with the Swadhishtana chakra. Her blessings help to go beyond that chakra in the Kundalini Shakti ascension.

In the Shaiv school of Hinduism, Maa Bhuvneshwari is the divine consort of Lord Shiva. She is described as the Shakti of Bhuvaneshwar Rudra. She resides in the heart of Lord Shiva.

In the Ta**ra school the worship of Goddess Bhuvaneshwari is done in Shambhavi mudra. And the night when she is worshipped is called Sidharatri.

Worship of Maa Bhuvaneshwari is an offering of self to the boundless wisdom of divine stillness.

🌸 She is not outside you — she is the space within you that holds it all with infinite love.

🙏🏻💮।। ॐ ह्रीं श्रीं ह्रीं भूवनेश्वर्यै नमः।।💮🙏🏻

● Parsva Ekadashi, the sacred day of Lord Vishnu’s divine parivartan during His cosmic slumber—when He shifts from His left side to the right—will be observed on Wednesday, 3rd September 2025.

● This Ekadashi is also revered as Vamana Ekadashi, honouring Lord Vishnu’s fifth incarnation, and holds special importance for Sanyasis and during the holy period of Chaturmas.

● On Parsva Ekadashi, devotees keep a Nirjala Vrat by abstaining from food and water for 24 hours, though some may take fruits or milk. The fast is broken with Parana the next day, within Dwadashi.

● The day is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, with rituals in Dakshinayana Punyakalam, where devotees pray, read scriptures, chant, meditate, and give in charity for spiritual growth.

● Observing this Ekadashi is believed to bless devotees with health, prosperity, spiritual growth, freedom from past mistakes, and strength to overcome the cycle of life and death.

● Parsva Ekadashi reminds us that change is inevitable and, when embraced with faith, becomes a path to growth, renewal, and spiritual awakening.

The month of September in the Hindu calendar becomes a sacred space for reflection, gratitude, and spiritual renewal.
From the celebration of Parsva/ Parivartini Ekadasi – a sacred shift to Anant Chaturdashi – an emotional farewell to Lord Ganesha, from paying ancestral homage during Pitru Paksha to the worship of Shakti during Navratri, each festival in this month carries layers of symbolism and timeless wisdom.
I term September as a ‘Spiritual passage’ that shows us every ending is also a new beginning.

Wishing you a soulful month filled with light, devotion, and inner growth 😇🙏🏻

🔸 Radha Ashtami 2025🍁 is celebrated on 31st August, marking the divine birth of Shri Radha Rani, the eternal consort of Lord Krishna and embodiment of pure devotion.

🔸 Radha’s love for Krishna symbolises the union of Atma and Parmatma, where her devotion is seen as the highest expression of spiritual longing and divine connection.

🔸 Shri Radha Rani is believed to have appeared in Barsana on a lotus in the Yamuna or during a yajna performed by King Vrishbhanu, affirming her divine origin as an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi🌸, lovingly adopted and raised by King Vrishbhanu and Queen Kirtida.

🔸 As mentioned in the Brahma Vaivarta Purana, Shri Radha Rani was honoured with 16 divine names by Lord Narayana Himself—each reflecting her divine qualities📿, from Rasikesvari to Krishna-Priya and Vrindavani.

🔸 Radha Ashtami is observed with fasting, soulful🕉️kirtans, and special temple rituals, especially during the sacred Madhyahna Kaal (midday), the most auspicious time for worship.

🔸On this day, devotees seek both spiritual elevation and material🌿blessings through heartfelt devotion, prayer, and the rare darshan of Radha Rani’s lotus feet, revealed only once a year.

🔸 Rishi Panchami, falling in Bhadrapada Shukla Panchami, is a sacred day dedicated to the revered Saptarishis (seven great sages) and will be observed on 28th August 2025.

🔸 In Hinduism, the revered Saptarishis— Kashyapa, Atri, Vishvamitra, Gautama, Jamadagni, and Vashishtha and Bharadwaja, collectively inspire us to pursue wisdom, balance, discipline, inner peace, ethical living, spiritual transformation, and the higher truths of life.

🔸 A popular legend behind Rishi Panchami speaks of a Brahmin girl afflicted by worms due to Rajaswala Dosha from a past life, who was miraculously healed after sincerely observing the Rishi Panchami fast.

🔸 On Rishi Panchami, women fast, take ritual baths, worship the Saptarishis, and offer sattvik food and prayers. The day is primarily observed to honour the Saptrishis and purify oneself from Rajaswala Dosha.

🔸 In Jainism, Rishi Panchami marks either the end or beginning of sacred observances, depending on the sect, and is dedicated to venerating great sages.

🔸 In Astronomy, the Saptarishis are represented by the seven stars of the Big Dipper, serving as celestial markers for time cycles and symbolizing the sages’ eternal cosmic presence.

🔸 Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka🍁Chaturthi or Ganesh Chauth, marks the birth of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, and is celebrated on 27th August 2025.

🔸 The legends✍️say that Lord Ganesha was created by Goddess Parvati from sandalwood and turmeric paste and brought to life as her son. After a divine conflict with Lord Shiva🔱, Ganesha was revived with an elephant’s head, becoming the revered remover of obstacles and the symbol of wisdom.

🔸 With his wisdom and wit, Lord Ganesha inspires clarity and thoughtful action🌸. As the remover of obstacles, his presence blesses every new beginning with success👐.

🔸 On Ganesh Chaturthi, devotees perform Madhyahna Puja🪔during the auspicious midday period, install Ganesha idols at homes and pandals, offer modaks and durva grass, and observe fasting to seek blessings of wisdom, auspiciousness and prosperity💰,.

🔸 As per the Shastras, Lord Ganesha once cursed the Moon for mocking him, making moon sighting on Chaturthi inauspicious. Hence, devotees are strictly advised not to look at the moon🌖on Ganesh Chaturthi, as it may lead to Mithya Dosham (false accusation).

🔸 Ganesh Chaturthi reminds us to embrace new beginnings with courage and faith while letting go of🫧ego, pride, and inner obstacles. It teaches that true wisdom lies in humility and devotion.
