🌸🌕 Maa Shakambari is an incarnation of Devi Durga. She manifested on Earth to relieve suffering during a severe famine, offering grains, fruits, and vegetables from her own being to sustain humanity.

🪷🌕 As per sacred texts, when the world faced despair, Maa Shakambari’s presence brought life, abundance, and hope. Her tears became nourishment, and her blessings restored balance to nature.

🌸🌕 Shakambari Purnima, or Paush Purnima, also marks the culmination of Shakambari Navratri, a time to honor her divine grace and mercy.

🪷🌕 Paush Purnima, the first full moon of the year, is linked to Lord Surya. The rare Sun-Moon conjunction brings high spiritual energy, making it an ideal day for performing spiritual activities.

🌸🌕 On this day, taking a holy dip in sacred rivers like the Ganga, Yamuna, or Godavari is said to purify the soul, cleanse past karmas, and awaken spiritual energy.

🪷🌕 May Maa Shakambari’s divine blessings fill your life with health, prosperity, peace, and spiritual nourishment.

As we step into the Gregorian New Year, January 2026 opens a meaningful phase of reflection, renewal, and conscious beginnings. This month brings together powerful spiritual observances such as Shakambari Purnima, Makar Sankranti, Magha Navratri, Ganesh Jayanti, Ratha Saptami, and Narmada Jayanti, along with the national significance of Republic Day.

These occasions remind us that dharma and karma go hand in hand—spiritual practices guide our inner alignment, while national observances call us toward responsibility, unity, and ethical action. January invites us to pause, realign with timeless values, and begin the year with clarity, purpose, and mindful intent—both personally and collectively.

🔸Vaikuntha Ekadashi is observed during the Dhanur solar period on Shukla Paksha Ekadashi, with its date varying each year due to the luni–solar alignment. This year, it is on 30 December 2025.

🔸This day, also known as Mukkoti Ekadashi, is a sacred occasion when the gates of Vaikuntha are believed to open, granting divine blessings and moksha to devotees of Lord Vishnu.

🔸On Vaikuntha Ekadashi, devotees observe a strict fast from sunrise to the next day’s sunrise without consuming rice. They break the fast during the auspicious Parana period on Dwadashi—avoiding Hari Vasara.

🔸Legends of Vaikuntha Ekadashi describe how Lord Vishnu destroyed the demon Murāsura through Ekadashi Devi, protected his devotee King Ambarisha from Sage Durvasa, and blessed devotees with access to Vaikuntha through the sacred Vaikuntha Dvaram for sincere fasting and devotion.

🔸Across India, this day is celebrated grandly in major Vishnu temples like Srirangam and Tirupati, where the opening of the sacred Vaikuntha Dvaram allows devotees to symbolically pass through the celestial gateway and seek Lord Vishnu’s blessings.

🔸It is a sacred day of spiritual renewal that invites devotees to reflect inwardly, cultivate discipline, and deepen devotion through prayer, introspection, and reconnection with the divine.

🔸The Winter Solstice is an important astronomical event that occurs once a year in the Northern Hemisphere, marking the shortest day and longest night of the year.

🔸 In 2025, the Winter Solstice is observed on 21 December, when the North Pole is tilted farthest away from the Sun, resulting in reduced daylight.

🔸 From a scientific perspective, the Winter Solstice occurs due to the Earth’s 23.5-degree axial tilt, which affects how sunlight reaches different parts of the planet and creates seasonal changes.

🔸 Symbolically, the Winter Solstice represents a turning point from darkness to light, reminding us of renewal, balance, and the gradual return of brighter days.

🔸 From an astrological perspective, this period brings life transitions into focus, particularly for those born on solstice days. Reflecting on one’s birth chart can offer a deeper understanding of these shifts and their broader significance.

May this Winter Solstice bring renewed light, balance, and clarity into your life.

🔸Sankranti is the Sanskrit term for the transition of the Sun from one Rashi to another. On 16 December 2025, the Sun will enter Sagittarius which is called Dhanu Sankranti.

🔸Dhanu Rashi is ruled by Jupiter. Whenever the Sun passes through Jupiter owned signs, he loses his natural radiance. Such periods become inauspicious for celebrations like wedding, buying new property or starting an important venture.

🔸However, the combined energy of Jupiter and the Sun enhances the Satvik nature during this transit. It is considered the best time to worship Lord Vishnu and Surya devata to pay off the karmic debt.

🔸Dhanu Sankranti falls during Kharmas, an inauspicious period in Hindu tradition. Though observed differently across India, the essence remains the same. This is a time for restraint, purification, and sincere adherence to the guidelines laid down by religious scholars.

🔸In Vedic astrology Kharmas is meant for introspection, prayer, charity, and aligning one’s actions with dharma. It is a period to realign karmic energies before stepping into new phases of life.

🔸“Saphala Ekadashi” is a sacred day dedicated to Lord Vishnu that brings prosperity, success, and liberation to his devotees. This year, it's on the 15th of December 2025.

🔸The legend behind Saphala Ekadashi tells the story of Lumpaka, a sinful prince who stayed far from righteousness. Through an unconscious act of devotion and true repentance, he received Lord Vishnu’s grace and transformed his life completely.

🔸The spiritual significance of Saphala Ekadashi lies in its power to cleanse past sins, remove obstacles, and bless devotees with prosperity, inner growth, and divine guidance.

🔸Rituals of Saphala Ekadashi include fasting, worshipping Lord Vishnu, chanting mantras, and staying awake through the night in devotion.

🔸On Saphala Ekadashi, devotees worship Lord Achyuta, Lord Vishnu’s divine form symbolising the one who never falls from truth.

🔸Devotees also offer charity by feeding the poor or donating essentials to enhance the blessings of the day.

🔸 Lord Dattatreya, the unity of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, embodies harmony, balance, and spiritual bliss. His worship invokes the combined energies of creation, preservation, and transformation, bringing clarity, stability, and inner awakening.

🔸 We commemorate the birth of Lord Dattatreya on the Purnima tithi of the hindu maas Margashirsha. In 2025, it falls on the 4th Dec 2025.

🔸 Guru Dattatreya is revered as the Adi Guru, who taught that wisdom resides in all of creation. Through his 24 gurus drawn from nature and life, he showed that true enlightenment comes from awareness and conscious learning.

🔸 Devotees honour him on Datta Jayanti by reading the Shri Guru Charitra, practicing mantra Japa, visiting temples, and performing simple acts of service believed to ease suffering, dissolve karmic burdens, and calm emotional turmoil.

🌸 Hinduism has a rich tapestry of various manifestations of the Devi or Supreme Mother. Each manifestation is a symbol which is created to lead us towards a spiritual and materialistically fulfilling life.

🌸 Annapurna Jayanti is celebrated on the Purnima tithi of the hindu month Margshirsha. In 2025, it falls on the 4th December.

🌸 Devi Annapurna is the Saumya or calmer manifestation of Devi Parvati. She is associated with cooking, kitchen, and cooked food. She blesses her devotees with prosperity and abundance.

🌸 Worshipping Devi Annapurna gives the food a divine blessing which enhances its taste, nutritious quotient, and reduces wastage. This is the reason she is invoked daily in millions of Hindu kitchens before preparing food.

🌸 Devi Annapurna is also called upon before cooking a grand spread so the food doesn't fall short, and everybody leaves satisfied.

🌸 The incarnation of Devi Annapurna reminds us that all women who slog daily in the kitchen are worthy of appreciation and gratitude for their selfless labour. The story of Annapurna Jayanti is a token of the importance of food, cooking, and their role in our day-to-day sustenance.

🔱 In Hinduism, spirituality and astrology are closely connected. All the Gods and Goddesses have an alignment with a certain planet. Worshipping that God or Goddess helps to remove the malefic effects of weak planets in our birth chart.

🔱 Dasa Mahavidya are fierce forms of Hindu goddesses who are known to grant special boons to their devotees. They are known as the feminine energy of the fierce form of Lord Shiva, Kaal Bhairav. Their worship can remove even major malefic effects of planets.

🔱 We celebrate Bhairavi Jayanti on the Purnima tithi of Margashisha Maas. In the year 2025, we celebrate it on 4th December.

🔱 Maa Bhairavi is the fifth Mahavidya, known to be fiercer than Mahakali. She is the Shakti that embodies destruction of negativity, ego and ignorance. In Vedic Astrology, she controls the lagna/ascendent rising in the birth chart.

🔱 Devi Bhairavi blesses her devotees with courage, discipline, and unwavering focus. Her story of emergence is equally fascinating.

🔱 Awaken your inner power with the blessings of Maa Bhairavi. Lead with courage, clarity, and conviction.

🪷 Among the Dashavatars, Matsya Dwadashi is dedicated to Lord Vishnu’s first incarnation — the divine Matsya Avatar. He appeared to restore cosmic balance and protect the sacred Vedas from destruction.

🪷 As per the Hindu calendar, we celebrate the divine day on the Shukla Dwadashi tithi of Margashirsha maas. As per Gregorian calendar, it is celebrated on the 2nd December 2025.

🪷 Matsya Avatar is the story of Lord Vishnu appearing as a divine fish to save the world during pralaya - the ultimate cosmic destruction. He warned King Manu, guided his boat through the deluge, and restored the stolen Vedas, protecting creation and preserving wisdom.

🪷On this day, devotees wake up early, take a sacred bath, worship lord Vishnu, chant Vishnu stotram and donate essentials. Many people also keep a fast for abundance, protection and prosperity.

🪷 This sacred day encourages us to embrace clarity, truth, and spiritual awakening, sailing forward with trust and devotion.

🔸 The spiritually significant Mokshada Ekadashi/ Guruvayur Ekadashi, observed in Margashirsha during the Shukla Paksha, will take place on 1st December 2025 this year.

🔸 The term “Moksha” stands for “spiritual liberation.” Hence, according to sacred Hindu texts, observing this day opens the gates of Vaikuntha for all devotees of Lord Vishnu.

🔸 On this day, Lord Krishna had imparted the divine teachings of Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna in the battlefield of Kurukshetra. Hence, people celebrate this day as “Gita Jayanti.”

🔸 Many people observe a Mauna Vrat on this occasion, choosing to remain in complete silence throughout the day to calm the mind and connect deeply with their inner self.

🔸 On this day, rice, certain lentils, brinjal, and all tamasic foods like meat, alcohol, onion and garlic are strictly avoided.

🔸 Devotees consume Bel leaves and worship Lord Krishna, Lord Ganesha, Mata Lakshmi and Shri Hari, while in the pilgrimage town of Guruvayur, the sacred Ekadasi Vilakku lamps are lit.

🔸 The legend of Mokshada Ekadashi tells how King Vaikhaanasa freed his father from naraka by observing this vrat , proving that this auspicious day grants liberation and blessings from Lord Vishnu.
