For a researcher, every publication is more than just a line on a CV—it is a piece of their life.
It begins like a seed.
A small idea, often fragile, often uncertain.
You plant it with hope.
You nurture it with long hours, sleepless nights, and countless revisions.
You care for it like something deeply personal—because it is.
Months go by. Sometimes years.
And during this journey, you grow along with your work.
You learn things you never imagined.
You struggle with concepts that once felt impossible.
You question yourself. You doubt your abilities.
And then comes the hardest phase—
“Rejections”
Emails that begin with “We regret to inform you…”
Requests to rewrite, reanalyze, rethink everything.
Moments where you feel like giving up.
There are days when the manuscript sits untouched.
Days when motivation disappears.
Days when you wonder if it’s even worth continuing.
But somehow… you keep going.
And sometimes, when you least expect it—
when you have almost lost hope—
life surprises you.
A door opens.
A path appears.
And what once felt impossible becomes real.
That seed you planted… blooms. This is not my story alone; I hope every researcher reading this can correlate.
I’m deeply grateful to share that our meta-analysis,
“Yoga Practice Duration and Its Influence on Type 2 Diabetes Management: A Meta-analysis of Asian Population” has been published in iScience (Q1, Impact Factor 4.1). This achievement is not just about publication—
it is about perseverance, learning, and faith.
