Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a mental health condition in which a person experiences persistent, unwanted thoughts (obsessions) that cause anxiety, along with repetitive behaviors or mental acts (compulsions) performed to reduce that distress. These thoughts and actions can become time-consuming and interfere with daily life, relationships, and work.
