Patient came with history of sudden hearing loss. On pure tone audiometry it showed left ear sensorineural hearing loss which was 61.66 db. After three doses of intratympanic steroids and oral medication patient
has drastic improvement. The first report is before starting the medication and second is after 3 doses of injections.

This is a case of perichondritis. patient came with history of insect bite and scratching causing him severe earache, swelling of pinna and tenderness. Treatment is oral antibiotics and anti-inflammatory and if pain does not subside within 3 days we need to start iv antibiotics. In this patient the swelling pain subsided with oral medications only.
