The key to a healthy and fit you lies in your digestion abilities. According to Ayurveda , your overall wellbeing and health depends a lot on how you digest things you take in from nature. Ayurveda also emphasizes on strengthening of agni or the digestive fire that aids in creation of healthy tissues in the body and also ejection of waste material from the digestive system. A weak digestive system comes with its own set of troubles. It leads to the problem of improper or lack of eating, bloated stomach, gas, indigestion, acidity, and erratic bowel movements among others. As a result, you feel heavy through the day. Unhealthy digestive system also becomes a storage for toxic material in the body w hich eventually becomes a root cause for a lot of health problems.

The Healthy lifestyle is a process rather than a static moment. It is dynamic.

I would define Healthy lifestyle as follows –
“The healthy lifestyle is the one that
• Promotes your health
• Keeps you fit and active
• Makes you feel good about yourself, your body and mind
• Helps you keep a balance between work and family
• Helps you achieve and excel in your life
• Keeps you away from diseases.”
It includes mental activities, physical activities, food habits and daily routines.

HOW TO HAVE A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE?

Adopting a healthy lifestyle is a gradual process. It requires effort, strong willpower and perseverance. It can be achieved slowly and gradually. We will explaining more in the future so be updated with our posts ❤

What is Holistic health concept:

There are natural products (and emotions) that are produced in the body and mind that needs to be thrown out at appropriate times.This is well-explained in Ayurveda.

Ayurveda explains two principles in this regard.
1. Whenever there is a natural urge, it should not be withheld. For
example, suppressing hunger.
2. Whenever there is no natural urge, it should not be voluntarily induced.
For example, eating when not hungry.

Below are some regime you can follow 💯

- Drink 1-3 glasses of warm water
- Gandusha / Kavala (Oil Pulling) 1 tablespoon of sesame or coconut oil for Kavala followed by warm water rinse.
- Gargle with warm water added with a pinch of turmeric and salt, Triphala, and Yashtimadhu. ShuddhaTankana (2% aqueous so(ution), Madhoodaka (5% aqeuous solution) also can be used for Koala graha.
- Nasal Health — Pratimarsha Nasya (2 drops of sesame / coconut oil each nostril).
- Daily practice of Yogasana, Pranayama and meditation for at least 30 minutes as advised by Ministry of AYUSH
- Warm water bath
