The 5th RSSDI Research Retreat 2026, held on 28th February & 1st March 2026 at Hotel Kiranshree Grand, Guwahati (Assam), began with an inspiring inauguration ceremony bringing together leading minds in diabetes research and care.

The RSSDI Research Retreat, a flagship initiative of the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India, continues to serve as a premier platform for researchers, clinicians, and young scholars to collaborate, exchange ideas, and advance innovations in diabetes prevention, management, and treatment.

Hosted in the beautiful city of Guwahati by the Brahmaputra, the 5th edition carries forward the Retreat’s legacy of fostering scientific dialogue, interdisciplinary learning, and cutting-edge research that will help shape the future of diabetes care in India.
