I get asked a lot about weather to give milk to babies and how much to give.
Post one year external milk can be given and start very slow in small amounts.

Please do not restrict milk fat and always choose a full fat variant available for babies or toddlers.

Always prefer cow milk over any other variant for kids as it is easier to digest.

My Little T just turned 7mo. These are foods I have introduced to her in last month after she turned 6m. I follow BLW for her as I did for P.

With P I was a little more held back, with T I have already started giving her meals from family pot sans the salt sugar and chilli.

I am already over halfway to the minimum target of 101 before one but so much of our regular foods are introduced to her.

At 6m she was only on one meal and due to her being unwell initially we postponed the starting of soilds by one week

If I can make this happen u can too.

T mostly accepted all foods well though some were rejected.

When your Toddler on Valentine's day wants to make cupcakes for Daddy, you have to work as Sous Chef as she wants to do everything on her own.😉

Ingredients:
3 ripe bananas mashed
1/4th cup vegetable oil or butter
1/4th cup milk(almond milk for vegan version)
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 Teaspoon baking powder
1/4th teaspoon baking soda(optional)
1/4th teaspoon vanilla essence
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 Tablespoon cocopowder(optional)

Recipe:
Mix all the ingredients well and form a batter. Add more milk of needed
Preheat oven to 180°C
Fill the muffin tray or silicon moulds to 3/4th
Bake for 20 minutes(time might vary by few minutes for different ovens)

To my darling Privika,

Happy 18 Months.

So much has happened in the last six months, the changes in you are immeasurable. You have gone from cruising around the furniture and venturing the odd step, to running rings round Papa and I.

You love to help Mumma and Papa and are gaining much more understanding of what we are saying. Being able to carry out tasks and it is so nice to start this proper communication with you.

The last couple of months have been challenging. I think you are being bothered by your teeth and feeling frustration at not being able to talk to us properly. It has resulted in lots of crying and shouting, at both our ends which is draining for us all. Hopefully, things will start to settle soon. And I promise to do better.

You are bright, funny, beautiful, determined, loving, independent and I hope you always will be.

Every day you make me laugh, you make me smile, you make me proud, and above all you make me very very grateful to be your mumma
