Endometrial polyp
An endometrial polyp is a growth that forms on the inner lining of the uterus (the endometrium). These polyps can vary in size and may be attached to the uterine wall by a thin stalk.
Symptoms of endometrial polyps can vary, but common ones include:
Irregular Menstrual Bleeding: Unpredictable or inconsistent periods.

Spotting between periods
Postmenopausal bleeding
Infertility
Diagnosis
Ultrasound: To visualize the uterus and detect polyps.
Hysteroscopy: A procedure where a camera is inserted into the uterus for direct visualization and possible removal.
Endometrial biopsy: To examine the tissue for abnormal cells.
Treatment
Observation: If asymptomatic and small.
Hormonal therapy: To help manage symptoms.
Surgical removal: If causing significant symptoms or concerns about cancer.
