🫀 A Milestone Procedure Successfully Performed!

We are proud to share a landmark cardiac procedure performed by Dr. Vivek Gaikwad & team In collaboration with Dr. Ravinder Rao at
Poona Hospital and Research Centre.

A TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation) – Valve-in-Valve procedure was successfully performed in a patient who had previously undergone Aortic Valve Replacement (AVR) in 2008 with a bioprosthetic valve and was admitted with prosthetic valve dysfunction.

🔹 The patient was treated using a Medtronic Evolute 23 mm valve.

This advanced minimally invasive procedure allows treatment of failing surgical valves without open-heart surgery, offering faster recovery and excellent outcomes.
