Greatest aesthetic congress, this side of the world, just concluded at Singapore. A superb venue- the sands expo at Marina Bay sands, got us to experience the efficiency and top class facilities and Audiovisuals. The organisation by Matt Yeo and Isaps backend team, led by Sarah Johnson was superb. Planned to the minutest detail. I had back to back meetings, moderations and presentations. Met so many friends from around the globe and made new ones. The Indian association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (IAAPS) had a strong representation of close to 60 delegates, one of the top three countries. For the first time ever we had an IAAPS session at ISAPS Olympiad. My work on correction of tired eyes was awarded a silver medal too. Many IAAPS members took home awards for their work. All in all a very satisfying successful congress for everyone. ,

A complete autologous reconstruction of the septal framework. Granulomatous disease had destroyed her septum and support of the midvault. Meticulously reconstructed the septum with rib cartilage grafts. Key is the adjustment of the projection of the tip, its angle and dorsal height. I am sure she will be happy.

A tough case with severe deviation, hump and drooping tip. On table result after correcting Deviated nasal septum, reassembling bony pyramid after hump reduction, lifting tip and setting up the lip nose angle right. Have seen her at first dressing change in a week and she is thrilled. Will post her long term follow ups if she allows 😅🙏🙏

My first isaps symposium organised by me in India just got over at Ooty, during our IAAPS national aesthetic surgery meeting- AESURG 2025. Looking at the feedbacks we are getting, it turned out to be a grand success. We had Kai kaye as the course director, and the faculty that the EC chair Andre Auersvald and Ahmad Saad had put together were the top names in their field globally. Icing on the cake was when isaps Arturo Arturo Ramírez Montañana agreed to grace the event. He flew all the way from Mexico to be at this meeting, despite his busy schedule. Special thanks to Jordi Mir from Barcelona, Hossam Tahseen Selim from Cairo, Mirza Firat from turkey, Ksenia Avdoshenko from Moscow, Katarina Andjelko from Serbia, for agreeing to come as faculty. A great meeting with great organisation and hospitality.

A typical broad Indian nose, even after you do osteotomy ( ie fracture the nasal bones) and move them in, the nose rarely looks sharp enough. Some sort of augmentation is necessary. The nostril shape is a useful guide to the extent of augmentation. Rib graft gives you excellent sharpness, especially if that is what the patient desires. I often leave that decision to the patient after preop counselling
