◇Devshayani Ekadashi puja method

On the day of Devshayani Ekadashi, one should wake up early in the morning and take a bath. Then, one should meditate on Lord Vishnu and after that take a pledge to fast on that day. This fast is a very difficult one as one is required to abstain from eating food or even consuming water.

◇What is the logic behind Ekadashi?

In Hinduism, the primary purpose of fasting on Ekadashi is to gain control over the mind and bodily senses, and channel it towards spiritual progression.
