Bitter is not the villain…
But overdoing it? That’s where the plot twist begins. 👀
In Ayurved, Tikta Rasa (bitter taste) is like that strict but well-meaning friend: great for cleansing, lightening, and resetting your system… but only in the right amount.
Come spring, your body is already trying to clear out Kapha and Ama (toxins).
A little bitterness helps. A lot? It can quietly increase Vata; leading to dryness, weakness, and even affecting bone health over time.
So no, this is not your sign to start eating karela like it’s dessert. 😄
✨ The real wisdom lies in balance. A little neem, some methi, a touch of turmeric… enough to support, not overwhelm.
Because in Ayurved, it’s never about extremes. It’s always about santulan.
If you’re unsure what your body actually needs this season, maybe it’s time to stop guessing and start understanding.
