-Nasal congestion
-Sneezing, Stuffing

🌿सुंठ
सुंठीला ‘विश्वभेषज’ म्हणजे संपूर्ण जगाचे औषध असे म्हटले आहे.
नुसत्या अनुपान भेदानेसुद्धा वात, पित्त व कफ या तिन्ही दोषांमुळे निर्माण होणाऱ्या विविध रोगांवर सुंठ उपयोगी पडते. सुंठीचे प्रमुख उपयोग होतो तो पचन संख्येच्या सर्व विकारांवर हॊय.

हे कंद जेव्हा ओला असतो तेव्हा त्याला आलं, अदरक असे म्हणतात. तोच कंद वाळला असता त्याला सुंठ म्हणतात.

दोन्ही मूलत: एकच असले तरी दोघांच्या गुणधर्मात खूप फरक आहे.

🌿 आम्लपित्त दूर होते.
🌿भूक वाढण्यास मदत होते.
🌿अपचन मळमळ या तक्रारी दूर करते.
🌿मासिक पाळीतील वेदना कमी होतात.

सुंठेमध्ये अनेक उत्तम गुणधर्म असल्यानेच तिला ‘महौषधी' असे नाव देण्यात आलं आहे.

⭐Golden Milk/Turmeric milk

Golden milk is easy to make at home. For a single serving of golden milk or about one cup, simply follow this recipe:

🌿Ingredients:

1/2 cup (120ml) milk
10ml water
1/2 tsp of turmeric
1 small piece of grated fresh ginger or 1/4 tsp of ginger powder
1pinch of cinnamon powder
1 pinch of ground black pepper or Piper longum
🌿(Certain studies show that pepper enhances the absorption of curcumin, the bio active component of turmeric in the body.)
1 pinch of cardamom
Directions:

To make the golden milk, simply mix all ingredients in small pot and bring to a boil.Strain the drink through a fine strainer into cup.
🌿 Turmeric may not be suitable to all & may result in adverse effect.
In such conditions talk to your doctor.

🟡हळदीमध्ये करक्युमिन नावाचं रसायन असते. ते औषध म्हणून काम करते, शरीरातील सूज कमी करण्यासाठी याची मदत होते.

🟡हळदीत अँटीऑक्साइड असतात. जे कॅन्सरच्या कोशिकांशी टक्कर देतात.

🟡तसेच याचा उपयोग त्वचेच्या समस्येसाठी होतो. तसेच हळदीचा वापर शरीराला स्वस्थ ठेवण्यासाठी होतो.

🟡बायोकेमिस्‍ट्री आणि बायोफिजिकल रिसर्च नुसार हळदीचे सेवन केल्याने ग्लुकोजची लेव्हल कमी राहते. तसेच टाइप २ च्या डायबिटीजचा धोकाही टळतो.

🟡हळद योग्य प्रमाणात सेवन केली तरचं ती आरोग्यास खूप फायदेशीर ठरू शकते. यासाठी हळद सेवन करण्याचं योग्य प्रमाण माहित असायला हवं.

प्रतिदिन मात्रा - 500 mg (मिलिग्रॅम) - 2 gm(ग्राम)

1.Ushna (उष्ण)- Warm food.
Food should be warm and freshly prepared.

Ushna improves taste of food & digestive power it also helps in vatanuloman.
Reduces kapha.
It makes food free from contamination & because of freshness it creates interest in taking food as it stimulates secretion of saliva & gastric juices.
Reheating of food is not suggested.

Stale food looses it's nutritional value, so does reheating.

In today's fast life, 24/7 working hours, it's really difficult to abide by these norms.

Still, we must try our best to eat fresh food, as long as possible. This can be possible only, when we give priority to our health and happiness.

There is no equipment or concept like refrigeration . The food Either cooked or raw intend to be consumed, need to remain in ambient temperature.

so it all depends how long the food remains without being spoiled in ambient temperature.

So the life span for each food item may differ depends on the keeping quality.

There are some cooked food, medications which are exempt from this rule.

Ahara(आहार) is considered as one of the key pillars (Upsthambhas) of life in Ayurveda. In today’s world, altered habits of food consumption may lead to various diseases.

Health is the ultimate product of food and its proper digestion and metabolism. If we take proper food, then there is no need of medicine. But now a day’s food habits are changing dramatically.

Good eating habits which are established in childhood often carry into adulthood. In present era, every individual prefer junk food, snacks, processed food and skipping breakfast. Their children also adopt the same pattern of diet; therefore they are more susceptible to various disorders of gastro-intestinal tract.

Ayurveda is the ancient science of healing which emphasizes on restoration of health as well as the treatment of diseases. Ayurveda described diet, dietary habits on dincharya (daily basis), ritucharya (seasonal basis), ashthvidh aahar visheshaayatana, etc. According to Ayurveda homeostasis in vata, pitta and kapha doshas (humors) brings arogya (health) while their derangements cause roga (disease). Food has power of aggravating, pacifying or balancing these doshas (humors).
