This is what happens when you allow your child to feel all their emotions;
You’ll find that staying calm and focusing on helping your child becomes easier.
You’ll find your ability to regulate your emotions and behavior grows stronger.
You’ll notice how your communication with your child changes for the better.
You’ll find that you’ll speak to your child with more understanding and compassion.
You’ll find that creating a safe space for your child to feel all their feelings wherever you might be will happen with ease.
You’ll find that your child will share more of their feelings with you.
You’ll find that your child will have a deep feeling of safety.
You’ll discover that you get less triggered.
You’ll find that you’re able to hold space for your emotions too.
The behaviors that you see in your child like tantrums, meltdowns, hitting, kicking, not listening, acting out, angry outbursts, and uncontrollable screaming can actually help you see the emotions underneath their behavior like their overwhelm, fear, frustration, stress, worry, sadness, need for more time in nature, anger, as well as more time with you.
