The very word "Naadi" in Tamil means - "destined". Hence destiny has leaves for those who wished to have their readings. "Naadi is a collective name given to palm-leaf manuscripts dictated by ancient sages predicting the characteristics, family history, as well as the careers of innumerable individuals destined to refer them. The Maharshis (great sages) as they are called in Indian scriptures, who dictated those Naadis, were gifted with such a remarkable foresight - that they accurately foretold the entire future of mankind. Many scholars different parts of India have in their safe keepings several Granths (Volumes) of those ancient palm-leaf manuscripts dictated by great visualizing souls, alias sages such as Agasthya, Bhrugu, Vasistha, Shukra, Kak-Bhujander and many other venerable saints.)"

Many of those who are not destined may not even know such a type of unbelievable astrology exists. But for those who are lucky, the very age when the native is destined to get to them is marked on the leaves. Therefore, when, where, and for whom one gets the prediction is all predetermined by the nature of selection. It is also stated that certain percentage of the population of the world only are likely to get these results as available. The age of those palm leaves were carbon dated to 350 to 400 years old. (For more details read Carbon 14 dating Test results - in Chapter 25. Page No.156 of Book - Naadi Predictions - A Mind Boggling Miracle' by Wing Commander Shashikant Oak) have been serving the mankind in spite of political and natural upheavals in the course of time due to wars and natural calamities. Study indicates that Naadi Astrology has been in use for at least for 4000 years. The treatises were probably first written on palm leaf scrolls in Sanskrit, the predominant language of ancient India and later on translated in Tamil and other South Indian languages. The treatises are believed to have been originally composed long ago by the Sapta Rishis or the seven great sages. If merely from impression of hand thumb someone accurately tells you, your name, the names of your father, mother and spouse, your birth date, month, age etc what you would you call such predictions? Would you regard it as magical wonder or as an amazing divination? Answer will be "certainly a wonderful deception or simply a case of black Magic!" No it is neither black magic nor a hand trick. Such prediction that defies all logic and boggles one's mind forms the subject matter of Agasthya Naadi. Various ancient Sages visualized those predictions at different places. With divine insight and factually noted by their chosen disciples, thousands years ago, to be handed down from generation to generation. This great work makes us realize the limitations of human beings to generation. That great compilation predicting the future of all human beings born or yet to be born, eclipses the achievements of all other sciences put together! Why the Need for Naadi Astrology ? The words like Naadi Predictions /Astrology or in Indian context, "Nadi Bhavishya or Naadi Jyotishya" have the same meaning. There are many who may ask, "Why there is a need for these leaves and Naadi Predictions system is the first place?" Well, the Sages themselves had stated in their scriptures that by the time man evolved himself to these modern times, his mind would have become so clouded by the things of this world that he would have forgotten his true spiritual nature. Consequently, this astrological system was created to bring people to a memory and realization of their true, divine nature. The Sages also said, "that from the chaos of the modern times a yearning would rise within the heart of man to seek beyond the supposed limitations of this world." Thus this system of truth was written by Sages for each individual soul and shows the entire role of the soul from the beginning of time. In present times, records of Agasthya Maharshi who is the founder of Tamil language and grammar are available in almost all Naadi centres. Thus, whoever is destined to look into the leaves will find their way to a Naadi reader of their own accord. The very word "Naadi" in Tamil means, "destined to come on own accord."

The history of
began with the discovery of two critical principles: The first is camera obscura image projection, the second is the discovery that some substances are visibly altered by exposure to light[2]. There are no artifacts or descriptions that indicate any attempt to capture images with light sensitive materials prior to the 18th century.

View from the Window at Le Gras 1826 or 1827, believed to be the earliest surviving camera photograph.[1] Original (left) and colorized reoriented enhancement (right).
Around 1717, Johann Heinrich Schulze used a light-sensitive slurry to capture images of cut-out letters on a bottle. However, he did not pursue making these results permanent. Around 1800, Thomas Wedgwood made the first reliably documented, although unsuccessful attempt at capturing camera images in permanent form. His experiments did produce detailed photograms, but Wedgwood and his associate Humphry Davy found no way to fix these images.

In 1826, Nicéphore Niépce first managed to fix an image that was captured with a camera, but at least eight hours or even several days of exposure in the camera were required and the earliest results were very crude. Niépce's associate Louis Daguerre went on to develop the daguerreotype process, the first publicly announced and commercially viable photographic process. The daguerreotype required only minutes of exposure in the camera, and produced clear, finely detailed results. On August 2, 1839 Daguerre demonstrated the details of the process to the Chamber of Peers in Paris. On August 19 the technical details were made public in a meeting of the Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Fine Arts in the Palace of Institute. (For granting the rights of the inventions to the public, Daguerre and Niépce were awarded generous annuities for life.)[3][4][5] When the metal based daguerreotype process was demonstrated formally to the public, the competitor approach of paper-based calotype negative and salt print processes invented by William Henry Fox Talbot was already demonstrated in London (but with less publicity).[5] Subsequent innovations made photography easier and more versatile. New materials reduced the required camera exposure time from minutes to seconds, and eventually to a small fraction of a second; new photographic media were more economical, sensitive or convenient. Since the 1850s, the collodion process with its glass-based photographic plates combined the high quality known from the Daguerreotype with the multiple print options known from the calotype and was commonly used for decades. Roll films popularized casual use by amateurs. In the mid-20th century, developments made it possible for amateurs to take pictures in natural color as well as in black-and-white.

The commercial introduction of computer-based electronic digital cameras in the 1990s soon revolutionized photography. During the first decade of the 21st century, traditional film-based photochemical methods were increasingly marginalized as the practical advantages of the new technology became widely appreciated and the image quality of moderately priced digital cameras was continually improved. Especially since cameras became a standard feature on smartphones, taking pictures (and instantly publishing them online) has become a ubiquitous everyday practice around the world.
