Unfortunately, most of us are never taught how to hold space for grief — or how to support someone who’s grieving.
It’s only when you lose a loved one — a parent, a child, a sibling, a partner — that you begin to understand the true weight of grief.
When I lost Baba, the people who could truly hold space for me were often those who had lost their own parents, or whose parents were terminally ill.

So often, expectant moms come to me after attending free hospital sessions or app-based classes, and I hear the same thing - ‘We weren’t told this… No one explained that… We were just told this product/intervention is safe.’
And that’s exactly why quality childbirth education is essential.
Pregnancy isn’t just a phase. It’s a sacred journey that deserves personal attention, deep understanding, and guidance that’s grounded in evidence.
True preparation takes time, dedication, and constant learning. It’s not about quick-fix content or one-size-fits-all advice. It’s about empowering you to make informed choices for your body, your birth, and your baby.
We often spend freely on gadgets, clothes, or holidays, but when it comes to the body growing life, we hesitate to invest in what truly matters.
So if you're ready to prepare from a place of knowledge and confidence, choose classes that are evidence-based and truly committed to quality - not just trendy or convenient.
Birth isn’t a moment to just figure out as you go!!

Some births happen so quickly that even the Doula can’t make it on time!😅
Vaibhavi and Aniket prepared so deeply for their birth journey that by the time I got there, baby had already made their grand entrance.
I didn’t have to do much - their calm, confidence, and connection did it all.🤗
Thank you to everyone who reached out.🙏
Baba left for his heavenly abode on 16th April. It's been a month. In this time, I've received immense support from family, friends, and even my clients and I am so grateful.
Everyone who’s reached out has only spoken about his warm supportive nature and how he never complained of his struggles.
Work didn’t pause. There were births, childbirth classes, lactation visits and yet, I’m so glad I could be there for my mothers, even while carrying this grief. The strength and willpower to do that, I truly feel, came from him.
Taking a break from social media was necessary, though I never imagined it would happen this way. Sharing about work or classes didn’t feel right while I was still processing everything.
Knowingly or unknowingly he helped me shape Eternal Bliss. Whenever I faced challenges in the business, he never panicked. There was a time when Eternal Bliss faced some setbacks, and I was unsure how to share it with him, especially since he wasn’t keeping well.
But he simply said, “Thike, one type of investment.”
Just like that, he helped me see setbacks as part of the journey not something to fear, but something to grow from.
Now that Baba is part of this space, I feel ready to share about my work.
He deserved the Eternal Bliss space.
His teachings, his calm strength, his legacy will stay with me always.
He will forever be my guiding light.

As we celebrate World Doula Week, I find myself reflecting on my journey of becoming a Doula. It wasn’t an easy path, but looking back, I know it was meant for me.
When I started my work in birth profession, I realized something was missing. Women needed more than just exercises and information. They needed continuous emotional and physical support, someone to be by their side, holding space for them in one of the most intense moments of their lives.
I still remember the first birth I attended 14 years ago. Back then, I wasn’t certified. I was just an observer. But that experience lit a fire within me. Watching the raw intensity of birth, the vulnerability, the strength, it made me realize how much women needed someone who truly understood and supported them. That was my trigger point.
So, I got certified as a Doula and continued learning because this field is ever-evolving. With every birth, I grew understanding not just the physiology of birth but also the emotions, fears, and power that come with it.
I was fortunate to have incredible mentors who held my hand through this journey. Dr. Vijaya Krishnan as been my guiding light, always there whenever I needed her. Even during births, when I was unsure, I could reach out to her, and despite being miles away in Hyderabad with her own commitments, she always made time for me.
Then came Divya Deswal, who taught me some of the most transformative practices. She helped me understand that as Doulas, we too can be deeply impacted by birth experiences. She showed us how to process that trauma, how to support women in their inner work, and most importantly, how to work with medical professionals instead of against them.
A huge thank you to the doctors in Pune who welcomed me into their birthing spaces and to the incredible parents who trusted me during such a life-changing moment.
Being a Doula isn’t just a job.It’s a calling, a responsibility, and an honor.

The common question I always get from Pregnant Moms during the Childbirth Education Classes 'How can we say no to cervical checks and episiotomies. Its so so common for every woman who gives birth in India.'
'And if the water bag has not ruptured naturally, its better to do it artificially. This is what my care providers says.'
Let's understand from Dr. Vijaya whether these interventions are absolutely necessary or not.
Don't miss this live. Right away put a reminder for this live for 10th March 8p.m. IST.
I'm excited to hear her perspective, are you?

Do you think the hospital staff will handle everything during labor? Nope, they will not.
Yes, the doctors and nurses are there for medical support, but managing contractions, staying calm, and working with your body - that’s YOUR job!
Why does this matter?
Because labor isn’t just a physical process, it’s a mental and emotional one too. When you know how to relax, breathe, and move through contractions, you reduce pain, feel more in control, and make labor easier for yourself.
Imagine running a marathon without training… sounds tough, right? Labor is the same! Preparing your mind and body before birth can make all the difference.
In my childbirth classes, I teach simple yet powerful relaxation techniques to help you stay calm, reduce stress, and work with your body—not against it!
Don’t leave your birth experience to chance. Get educated, get prepared, and take charge of YOUR labor!

When labor starts, its natural to feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. However, its important not to rush to the hospital at the first sign of a contraction.
Which is why it is recommended to follow the 5-1-1 rule or the 4-1-1.
The reason why it is better to not head to the hospital to early is that early labor can actually last a while sometimes even hours or days. If you rush to the hospital too soon they might send you back home because you are not far enough along or not worse they might induce you and use unnecessary interventions.
Staying home allows you to move around, eat, rest and find ways to cope with the discomfort on your own terms. It is better for both your body and your mind to wait until things are more active.
Plus, being in the comfort of your home during the early stages of labor can help you relax more than being in a hospital environment and also help to speed up labor.
So, don't rush and follow the rule of 5-1-1.
