Changing our programming to live a healthier and happier life!
The Mind.
It is a tool that we can and must use to survive and excel. However, this mind has its own AI so to speak. A continuous incessant stream of thought. Thoughts arising without our control. The mind is no more a tool but a master. Based on our surroundings, current experience and past experience we have a steady stream of thought in reaction to any stimulus. This external stimulus or circumstance then goes on to dictate our inner state of being, our mental/emotional states. Our inner state of being becomes purely a reflection of our external circumstance. The 'stories' of our lives creates a certain identity based on emotional responses to situations, beliefs derived from our version of reality and worldviews based on our idealized version of what the world should be like, etc. We become so strongly identified with these patterns of consciousness, we fail to realise that these are simply patterns, not the essence. If we can afford to let go of these identifications, our inner states are no longer simply reflections of external circumstances.
