Case of 48 year old female came to me with complaint of per vaginal bleeding continuesly since last one month. Character of bleeding was profuse, dark clotted aggravated by slightest movement. Abdominal discomfort during the flow with sence of heaviness++
Weakness ++
Past history - H/O Jaundice 2 yrs back recovered well from that
Family history- Mo - DM
Personal history -
Doesn't feel like eating , drinking anything ,nausea towards eating anything
No urine and bowel complaints
Menstrual and obstetric history- Menarche at the age of 13 yrs me**es were normal after that 5-6/30 days
Obstetric history- 2 male children 1 Ftnd 2nd lscs on account of CPD
C/o menorrhagia with metrorrhagia started started after the delivery of 2nd child
6/21 days profuse ,clotted
Same pattern was there till last month
Mentally has become very irritable due to the complaint. Cannot bear slightest contradiction.Cannot tolerate even small conversation.
Approach to the case-
Considering the complaint and overall things i advised her following investigations
1) Haemogram
2) USG
As a basic line of investigation
Hb count was - 9.2 gm%
USG abdomen and pelvis revealed bulky uterus and changes of adenomyosis
Considering the pathology complaint and profile of the patient following medicines we're prescribed to her
China 1m 3 doses each with a gap of 4 days
For weakness ( ailments from loss of vital fluids, debility from exhausting discharges.
Me**es too early. Dark clots and abdominal distention.Profuse me**es with pain.)
Ustilago 30 - 4 pills tds along with SBL biocombination 1 for anaemia

Ustilago- Considering the chief and pathology
Flabby Condition of the uterus.Haemorrhage.
Congestion of various parts especially at climacteric.
Profuse me**es discharge of blood from slightest provocation, partly clotted.Menorrhagia at climaxis. Uterus hypertrophied.
1st follow up after 3 days- In words of patient
" Feeling comparatively much better weakness is improving appetite is also improving.
Feeling of fullness and heaviness in abdomen is also not that marked.
Bleeding was also much reduced
Follow up after 8 days
Bleeding stopped completely
The same Medicine was continued for a month
Further treatment would be planned as per further follow up
