As the child grows , the child has to mix with p*ers and socialize ; so that he or she gets acquainted with the surroundings. Also , the social and language development of the child will depend upon how your child plays or reacts with other children of same age group. Try to encourage pot feeding so that your child gets the sense of social interaction . Stranger anxiety will gradually go away as the child grows.

Dear parents of beautiful kids, in this Diwali festival just take of your kids . Respiratory diseases are more common during the firecrakers around or incense sticks . Prevent your kids from troublesome firecrackers or candle lights. Use safe methods of lighting and candles which are eco-friendly. In case of any accidents, please approach your nearby hospital or consult your doctor pediatrician for the same. Have a safe Diwali...!!!

When there is twin babies born to a mother , the responsibility of the parents increase two fold. Both babies cry for feeding at same time. And it is natural response of feeding that when one baby starts crying other baby also cries at same time. So it becomes mandatory that family support and care taker support is managed at homely basis to provide optimum care of both neonates. A mother when solitary caretaker may get exhausted when she herself has to baby sit both babies simultaneously. Ask for family help or professional care taker help for proper care of both babies and feeding .

Some parents have a premature or low weight baby. In that case , after discharge from hospital care, the parents have to be involved in baby care of a high risk infant. The mother should know how to nurse the baby, check baby for feeds and hygiene. The baby who are born premature will gain weight slowly and the feeding patterns of such babies are also different from a normal term gestation baby. Its the doctors responsibility to recommend extra premature baby care while the baby grows slowly. Regular weight check and doctor visits are also a part of treatment of a premature baby.

All babies as they grow will require compassion to grow into a healthy atmosphere around surrounded by love , social acceptance and enhancement of new curious skills of the baby. The parents or the relatives have to be keen and educated enough to provide a nurturing environment for their baby especially as the baby has crossed 8 months age. That is the age when your baby develops its social interactions with p*er groups.

As your baby approaches 2 years , start toilet training habits for your kid. Baby should be made to p*e in toilet with flush facilities and potty use should be encouraged to avoid spoiling of sheets or floors. Once your baby starts getting used to toilet training habits , it will be easier to inculcate dry by day habits in your child. Specific timing of toileting should be encouraged, which can avoid random cleaning and mess. The potty pot used should be of good quality material and care should be taken that it doesn't harm your kid while using or while washing.

As your baby grows older, baby can throw tantrums for want of specific toy or foodstuff. The baby goes on crying persistently and can become blue or hypoxic if the want is not taken care of. These habits constitute a classical 'Breath holding spell' where the baby suddenly stops moving after longer duration of crying or screaming for food or toy. To avoid this agitated behavior, the family should inculcate appropriate social habits for your baby where the baby learns to interact with p*ers , learns sharing, asking, gratitude, and adjusts if the demand is not fulfilled by parents. The parents play a pivotal role to avoid throwing tantrums for their kids, and can help enhance the social skills for the growing baby. If such an event occurs , the parents should remain silent and calm so that the baby resumes its normal behavior after few minutes. If normal breathing is not resumed, immediate consultation with your pediatric doctor is mandatory.

Tip of today ...
Till 6 months of age , your baby relies on exclusive breast feeding. As your child grows older, the mother can enhance nutrition of your baby by mixing nutritional feeds for example , egg yolk , dry fruit powder , or suji homecooked dried in mixer grinder then mixed in milk in form to make porridge consistency for making it palatable and easy digestive for your baby. The baby food potions should be enhanced in nutritional supplements for easy growth and proper weight gain of your child. The feed porridges prepared should be served at room temperature to your child so as to avoid non-digestion. Your baby will enjoy feeding time if accompanied by a small play or music along with the feeding time.

After 4 months of age , your baby achieves roll over and moves throughout your bed during night or sleeping. Care should be taken to prevent baby falling out of bed by use of pillows or baby blankets with side panels. To achieve a comfy atmosphere while sleeping, a limited use of fan or air conditioning just to sooth your baby should be enough to make your baby have a good sleep. The baby has habit of moving throughout the bed area during sleep. Also brightness should be minimum to achieve good comfort for your baby. Hands or legs of your baby might get entangled during sleeps positions , so care should be taken to achieve comfortable and delightful sleep for your baby.

A baby if taken for outing in an outside atmosphere can get cold stress or become crancky. So it is preferred that your baby stays home in cozy environment till at least 6 months age . Your baby can be taken outside for routine check and vaccinations but regular outings like attending ceremonies or family functions with your small baby should be avoided. The baby may find it difficult to adjust in outside environment and becomes crancky. Also a couple sets of diapers and extra baby clothing should be taken in a baby bag while going out till your child turns two years of age. Babies have habits to hang on mother's shoulder when outside , so it is preferred that parents should take the baby outside only when dire indicated.
